drc Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 thanks for the info, roughly how far is it from the station ?
tomtom Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Which is the best tube station to use, bush, white city or ladbroke grove?
Guest Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 White City is about half mile max from the ground. Head straight out, across the crossing, turn right and first road on your left is SA Road. 5 mins down there and you're at the ground
drc Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 tyvm I'm going from Sweden to Londan and I'm gonna stay in bayswater so now I know perfectly hot to get to Loftus road and (hopefully ) back
Ric Flair Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 White City is an absolute shit hole, one of the horriblest places in the whole of London. Pubs around there?? I dread to think. Shepherds Bush Market Station there's a good pub called The White Horse or there's plenty of other places around The Green, such as Walkabout and O'Neill's if you can't be arsed to look for the traditional boozers. This game is always a funny one for getting in a pub that's got plenty of Leicester in, a lot of the pubs near to the ground have stopped allowing away fans in.
drc Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 it seems to be more pubs around shepherds bush Market station compared to white city. Is it a hazzle to walk from shepherds bush ? it looks quite easy on the map. As I'm going from sweden I want to be prepared. drag the map up slightly to see the shepherds bush station: http://www.fancyapint.com/area/00624.php
MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 QPR Away SOLD OUT Posted on: Wed 02 Mar 2011 Away tickets for City's npower Championship trip to Queens Park Rangers this Saturday have now sold out. The last remaining tickets in the club's 3,200-allocation for the visit to Loftus Road were sold on Wednesday morning. The trip to the capital to face the league leaders represents a significant test for Sven-Goran Eriksson's squad, as they look to impose themselves on the Championship play-off race. Supporters unable to secure a ticket for the game at Loftus Road can listen to live, full-match commentary online exclusive on Foxes Player. ajthefox Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Good on everyone with tickets, having the full allocation sold is quality. I imagine the noise will be good, just hope you all come back with the points!
Fosse Boy Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Shepherd's Bush Market station 10/15 minute walk to the ground I'd say. Will most likely end up there again this year, few battle cruisers in that area.

Decent little place.
tomtom Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 There's a wetherspoons that's good for away fans and a couple of other boozers straight outside ladbroke grove, then short walk to ground...so my London based mate informs me
martinrowland Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Looking forward to this as it's the nearest Championship away game for me, being raised in a Brentford household I naturally despise QPR. Not expecting us to take any points back to Leicester but who knows. Any lads considering getting to QPR via Ladbroke Grove station should re-consider, because if the area around White City is a shit hole, Ladbroke Grove is complete hell and is not even as near to the ground.
Matt Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Right so the verdict is basically White City is closer to the stadium but Shepherds Bush Market has more/better pubs? Is Shepherds Bush Market where the majority of Leicester fans will be? What time are most people planning to be in London/Where? I reckon i'll be getting into Euston at about 10.46.

I'll be getting down to The White Horse about midday, but it all depends if me and Head Honcho get out of Willesden Green alive first.
