StanSP Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Another midfielder/winger is a position we need, doubt we'll see SWP here but Michael Johnson seems like a good bet. Just noticed that Keiron Dyer's gone to Ipswich on loan, since when did they become so attractive? They didn't. Keiron Dyer just isn't good any more.
Bugg Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 They didn't. Keiron Dyer just isn't good any more. He's also from Ipswich
millzi Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 i honestly don't think drogba's a bad shout. Close form the ivory coast days if Chelsea played a percentage of wages he may drop down Unlikely but not a bad call Please tell me this post is a joke!? The most ridiculous thing I have read of FoxesTalk! I actually feel quite ill.
jonw88 Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 He's also from Ipswich All the more reason for Bruno to return!!
whitlock Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Drogbas not a bad shout get a grip people for fvck sake! Yeah its not a bad shout, more like woeful, delusional, ridiculous, pointless, never in a million years kinda shout instead.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Does Birch know much these days?? If so did anyone pick up on the fact that he shot everyone down when they suggested a striker coming in at the start of the show saying "What? So ur gonna drop the yak??"... Reading between the lines I think this means it's a winger/midfieler, but then again it could mean **** all if Birch isn't so well informed... Anyway, given the fact that between Sven/Stringer it came across as being a 'big' player I'll pop for SWP...
kristenallen74 Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rm8u3yzwLe8 Id still have Henry any day.
sphericalfox Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 He's also from Ipswich I remember some years ago seeing a piece, can't remember what it was a part of, but I digress, apparently Kieron Dyer is a HUGE WWE (formerly WWF) fan. He was about 22/23 I think at the time and was backstage at one of their shows, and was about the most thick individual I have ever seen documented on camera. I think he actually thought they were real. He was like a 7 year old around these 'stars'. I am not surprised his career went downhill, as it never actually took off. Elbow to the head! BOFF!
topharry123 Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Henry and Beckham were far fetched, but remotely possible as they're both playing in a league that isn't as strong as the Championship....but Drogba? Come on, top goalscorer last season, linked to Real Madrid in January and still playing a part in the Chelsea set up. He could be a starter for any team in the world, yet he'd come to Leicester? Not sure if that was serious or not, but honestly we will draw some big names, but nothing even remotely close to Drogba for the foreseeable future.
Ashley Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 its on one of the threads here, it came out.. bert or gallys father in law was it ?? I swear Bert said it was Owen.
The Doctor Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 All the more reason for Bruno to return!! Bruno Him and Yak upfront together - hench strikeforce.
yorkie1999 Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Its got to be the player sven turned down because of his wage demands, so i reckon owen
Cat Burger Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Its got to be the player sven turned down because of his wage demands, so i reckon owen That was said to be SWP, or so I recall.
whitlock Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 That was said to be SWP, or so I recall. That was Stringers guess, i dont think anything official was mentioned about SWP.
dannythefox Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 I think he will be after a striker so i'll say owen.
City Lad Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 I think its interesting that Sven has been experimenting with 4-4-2 lately; maybe in preparation for another striker coming in?
ScouseFox Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 I wouldn't take Drogba. Doesn't seem to put in enough effort.
STUHILL Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Don't think it's Owen has he is just coming back from injury and he is hardly going to leave a title winning team with not many games to go. SWP is still my guess. Obviously SWP would be a great signing however, anybody watch Reading - Chelsea FA cup match? Ian Harte had him in his back pocket!
fantastic_mr_fox Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Fulham-transfer-news-Striker-Diomansy-Kamara-is-wanted-by-Leicester-on-loan-article713834.html
millzi Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Please Sven. Good shout, Chelski seem to like loaning their youngsters out to us, that wouldn't surprise me to be honest, although isn't he a regular on the bench at the minute? Or at least he was..
Stevosevic Posted 14 March 2011 Posted 14 March 2011 Kamara, can't complain, although i don't want to see a switch to 4-4-2.
