Like I said, hopefully we'll not get him, and he leaves you greedy, arrogant, ambitionless lot for nothing. We might be spending big money, but that's because we want to get in the premier league and not potter about just above the championship relegation spots for the next 10 years. We aren't greedy. You payed 5.5M for Mills and Maynard is a considerably better assest to any team. How are we arrogant? Because we've turned down bids from you? Surely the fact we aren't accepting the bids which most other clubs would accept shows that we do have ambition? Now I have no problems with Leicester FC but I expect the majority of you will have a go at me for this. Simply how it looks from my perspective, that's all.

Of couse it's not a fact and I have of put in my opinion before that, sorry. The reason I think this though, is because personally I think it's easier to find a defender as good as Mills in this division than it is to find a striker as good as Maynard.

They don't want to sell & foolish as many think it's their decision. We have already offered more than what he is worth so let's look elsewhere. As for Bothroyd it's reported he wants £65k a week.

We all know Maynard has talent, however for me his stats just don't add up to £5-6m'

Yes, great ambition on letting your most valuable asset leave for nothing in 12 months time. Well I don't see how when, our club has much more money, potential and fan-base. We have more season ticket holders than your average attendance. There's more chance of us getting in the Europa league in the next five years than there is you lot even threatening breaking into the prem.

We're approaching that already. There must be something in it 'cause Sven wouldn't chase a lost cause and NM still hasn't signed the contract. I just hope this gets resolved one way or another soon 'cause out of these 126 pages, about 90% of them are full of complete balony.

I'd of liked Nicky to have signed a contract by now but I'm still hopeful he will, as long as there is no Premier league interest. The Championship is a lottery. However last season we were 2nd favourites with the bookies with a very highly rated manin Steve Coppell as manager having signed the likes of David James and we ended up 15th. Maybe not, but perhaps you guys should pay attention to key details like the transfer fee, when it is being used as the basis for many of your (BCFC fans) arguments' about how much Maynard is 'worth'.
