I personally think he is a legend and a 12 month contract is not out of the question. Reading the Mercury today, his love for the club seems unquestionable, that seems rare in todays game, especially at championship level and below where player moves are so easy & frequent. Also if this topic has already been raised, I'm sorry please delete or ignore, what ever the procedure.

It's quite amazing. This doesn't mean I don't like him by the way. It's nice to see that we can all actually get behind a player for once!
Bert Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 I think he's just a very nice, humble man who is grateful for a 2nd chance. I'd be disappointed if we didn't offer him a contract on a pay as you play deal at least.

I think his story and experiences are true to his description. It doesn't matter that he hasn't played hundreds or games or scores hat fuels of goals, it's the story behind it. However that is just my humble opinion. And as has been stated today in yak & Bruma thread, am not a regular poster so should be ridiculed for anything I say about my beloved Leicester City.

I feel sorry for the guy as he's had a bad time with injury but that doesnt mean he deserves a contract no matter how much he says he 'loves' the club.

MPH Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 I think it wouldnt be out of the question for him to have a contract - he signed when we were in the first division so he surely wont be on wages like what the Yak and Kamara are on.. and when he is injured the insurance pays his wages anyway so money cant be an issue. Legend? thats not appropriate to call him. He's hardly played for two years.

Tunch is even yet to prove himself in the Championship let alone the Premier League Eadie (our record £3.5m signing before Ade) brought his own treatment table with him - Tunch (like Matt Jones) at least got wounded in (LCFC) action. Didn't this crock-worship start with Pontus Kaamark, who managed a game and a half before getting injured for a year, during which time his reputation just kept on growing .... justified for once..
