Fox 4 Life Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Sign him up, Sven wasn't sure if he would want to stay after no promotion but that is clear as day. He is saying all the right things and although he can be lazy his goal scoring record speaks for itself.
Stevosevic Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 If Yakubu plays in a promotion winning team at this level next season then he will be the leading league goal scorer in this division for absolutely years. He's capable of 30+ league goals without breaking sweat. For £2 million and the same again in wages we should go all out for him. Build a team around him, get two wingers in and a striker that chases lost causes and the defense can go window licking again all season. Well said.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Lopped his leg off and counted the rings? Dammit, you beat me to it! If he wants to play for us ahead of a club like Everton, I say get him. He's not even hanging it out there for another Prem team, he said he's happy here and I like that. He'll get 20+ if he plays for us next year.
Unit Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Lopped his leg off and counted the rings? Near enough, wrist scan.

Brainy Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 For people saying he isn't 28, he had the medical test when he signed for Everton that confirms somebody's age. He is 28. that means hes 32 now then?
Christoph Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 that means hes 32 now then? He said he is 28, not was 28
Petchy Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 The bit at the end made me laugh... "Stringer: Will you be happy to play in the Championship with Leicester? Yakubu: Yeah. great."
rico Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 the so-called lazy sod's only up for April Player Of The Month!

Cat Burger Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 His words are sweet music to me! I will be extremely disappointed if we don't sign him, but I will understand why.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 For people saying he isn't 28, he had the medical test when he signed for Everton that confirms somebody's age. He is 28. Shame, I would feel better if I knew of Yakubu is not lazy but just old .
Libertine Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 The bit at the end made me laugh... "Stringer: Will you be happy to play in the Championship with Leicester? Yakubu: Yeah. great." Just seen that on the news. Doesn't sound that excited at the prospect but still, good news.

Callabinho Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 I loved his cheecky little smile on the picture of his award! Bless his cotton socks! (That provide goals)
upthefoxes Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 i dont like yakubu but looking through his statistics on the football league website, hes played 19 scored 10 5 assists averaging 2.2 shots a game 1.2 of which are on target. so everyother shot on target goes in?! im sorry but with stats like that can we really say no to signing him?
shen Posted 4 May 2011 Posted 4 May 2011 Just seen that on the news. Doesn't sound that excited at the prospect but still, good news. He's sounded like the most boring miserable sod in the interviews I've heard
