absolutelegend Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 not happy with this. we started the summer after the Yak couldn't get him so moved on to Nugent and Maynard not looking good on that front so went for CMS and that's not looking over positive i don't believe the stories about the korean and aj evens really has to be bottom of svens wish list - if indeed he was ever on it hoping to be proved wrong and we start the season with yak and maynard up front still

I think he's crap personally and surely he'd just be a squad player for you? It has come out on Blades Mad that they allegedly free transferred (not sold for an undisclosed fee as the club have announced) Darius Henderson to Millwall. This is why it was announced as undisclosed by the club. And they are still paying him the difference (thousands a week) for the remainder of his contract. I expect a similar sort of scenario to happen for Ched Evans. He is on BIG money.

He has had chances, he has training to prove he can cut it and deserves to be in the squad. If Sven doesn't start him, then I trust Sven. He is more likely to know who should be starting for us, than any of us on this forum.

lcfc22 Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Im happy with the likes of nugent and think he will be good but seriously ched evans, for 1 mil and hes not even as good as waggy plus i think howard could do a job for 10-15 minutes coming on for a lot less wages, if we sign him i don't know what sven sees in him but happy with every other player we've been linked with or signed so far!
