Great night had, awesome to see Davis up close, his speed even shocked me, just awesome to see and made for a nice quiet journey home  

 

Impressed with what BT and Warren are trying to do and it did feel that more people were actually attending to view the boxing rather than those who splash out on a ticket to just get hammered on watered down beer and spend the night singing kolo/yaya whilst trying to scrap with anything that moves.

I've just finished  reading an article on it apparently it's because Uzcategui was dq for landing after the bell ( who gets dq for that btw ) so you know, any good trainer is going to lamp him.

They are suggesting Dirrel intentionally stayed down from the knockdown in order to get Uzcategui disqualified. Then the trainer (Dirrells uncle) goes and clocks Uzcategui. Shocking

You can hear his corner telling him to stay down. Initially he seems ok but then you hear his corner telling him to stay down and suddenly he rolls over onto his back and is checked by the doctors.

 

By all accounts Uzcategui was warned in a previous round about punching after the bill. He was DQ'd for punching after the bell whilst in mid-flow. Bit harsh but what Dirrels uncle did was shocking and inexcusable. Not surprising there's a warrant our for his arrest.

I've got a horrible feeling brook gonna loose this, hope to god he don't, the weight coming down wise, might just be his downfall, but would not be at all surprise if brook won, either way a close one to call, and I rekon groves will secure his first world title as well
