Like any sport, he’s hit the peak but he has never looked the same since the Ruiz loss.

Prior to that, we sort of knew Uysk was great, however he wasn’t in AJs league (as a heavyweight).

How the landscape has changed in three years.

We now need Fury / Uysk.

That isn’t as clean as some would say, as that 10th round just showed how incredible Uysk can be.

Fury can’t be classed as one of the best ever, until he beats Uysk.

Hhmmm, I’ve been saying Usyk could be a problem for him for years tbf. Plenty of posts on here if I could be arsed to drag them up.

I though AJ actually boxed well had it 116-112 Usyk but was a good effort, Uskys just got a superior skill set. think he will win another belt if he keeps going. Fury and Usyk might not be around much longer.

AJ was always just another David haye ultimately

Absolutely incomparable careers, AJ has been far more successful than Haye.

Thanks for that ..  enjoyed the fight.

I thought Usyk didn't look that much smaller than AJ (than I thought he would( when they were both in the ring.  I thought the best man won and tbh Usyk has helped AJ from getting a battering from Fury.

Anthony Joshua ..  all the gear (physique) and no idea (killer instinct) ...  after losing yet again and being also beaten by the roly poly Mexican pub fighter I can't see the point in him carrying on.

He’s American, and 34-2 (should be 35-1 with his only legitimate loss being to AJ, on points, when he’d spent 6 months boozing and eating out) is some record for a pub fighter.

Just because he looks tubby doesn’t mean he can’t box.

Good job usyk and his team took AJs ramblingnin the way they did.

That could easily have escalated if it was another opponent.

The more I think of it, the more AJ comes across as a complete tool thinking it's all about the AJ show.

Complete  lack of respect  for the actual winner of the fight.

It's the most exciting thing I've ever seen him do and even then it was really boring.

In fairness, I wasn’t sure if he’d step up with that skill set to heavyweight.

He’s great if you enjoying boxing and a brilliant, inoffensive character as well. Full props to him.

I actually hope he beats Fury, should it ever happen.

Got nothing to lose now & tbf to him he has never ducked anyone, it probably won't happen though, I'm sure Fury will change his mind & be 'retired' again in a week.

There’s potentially a way back for Joshua like there is for Wilder, but not if  he  fights Fury there isn’t… if he can’t beat a beefed up cruiser weight.. twice… then he’s got no chance against Fury.

Rubbish!! Eddie Hearn is the only one that will stop this fight from happening, fury is 100000% confident he is beating Joshua, and anyone who knows the littlest thing about boxing knows how this ends!! Fury is levels ahead of Joshua,

Although in my opinion I think Uysk is better then your giving credit for, you are dam right about AJ having zero chance against fury

Not saying he isn't, he clearly is alot better than Joshua, not disputing that. I'm sure he'll demand something stupid like a 80/20 split though & then it will never happen, even though he likes to tell everyone he will fight for free.

I really want to see Adam Azim fight someone that can last more than 1 round.

He looks talented as hell and had a great coach. Hopefully his fight in November will be bigger step-up

Fish eyes was on talk sport earlier and reckons they have sent a high level offer to AJs team for the fight to take place later this year. Can't see it being made in such a short space of time to be honest as Warrens offer will be beyond reasonable and Hearn will want duel broadcaster rights so it can go on DANZ as well. No better time for Fury to take on AJ so don't think he's pissing about at all.

60/40 split apparently.

Eddie Hearn has confirmed they have accepted the 60-40 split with a rematch clause. They've got 3 potential dates pencilled in late November/Early December at Wembley or Cardiff. Still a lot to sort out around TV rights etc in not much time but thats an encouraging start

Its Fury's side this time that will hold it up exactly as they did last time.

Fury is using Joshuas name to generate a buzz so he can eek a few more PPV numbers when he ends up fighting Charr.

I mean the Principality is booked for Rugby all November and Frank has sent terms for November 12th. Its all a charade.

Hearns just got Joshua to sign for DAZN, to have him get battered by Fury and Usyk in the same year before getting some proper fights on that platform is gonna kill the golden goose a bit. The 60/40 split has backed him into a corner though, I reckon it’s gonna be either some bullshit about the dates or a mysterious injury

Not gonna happen is it in such a short time. AJ wants it on the 17th Dec with the reason he can't start his training camp yet as still recovering after the Usyk fight and Fury wants it late Nov/Early Dec as the Fury v Usyk fight is pencilled in for Feb/March.

Still things like broadcasting rights to be agreed

Daft as it may sound I actually think AJ has a better chance of beating fury than Usyk. Usyk would just get levered for 12 rounds.

Obviously we’d be looking at a situation where Joshua catches Fury and has the ability to finish him by using the extra nonce he has in finishing wounded fighters compared to Wilders aimless fist flinging.

Fury still a massive favourite.

Styles make fights mate, Fury has Usyk matched on technique gives a bit a way on mobility but has a six inch height advantage. He’d pick him off with ease, Fury’s a nightmare for Usyk to break down.

AJ at least has a small chance of chinning him, and generally has a history of matching up better against taller opponents. Ruiz gave him problems, Takam gave him problems Usyks gave him two lessons, the likes of Pulev and Wlad got cleaned out.

Not saying he’d win but I wouldn’t right him off. He’s a different beast to wilder. Let’s face it Wilders best wins are Two life or death wins over Luis Ortiz who just got pole axed by Andy Ruiz the other weekend who a switched on AJ didn’t lose a round against.

You may well be right Pabs but tbh I’m not sure AJ is even relevant any more ..  the only real fight in town is Usyk versus Fury (if it ever happens) and if AJ wants to get any credibility back he’d need to fight and beat someone like Wilder .. and there’s little chance of that (as in beating someone of Wilders ability). But ..  as we all know in boxing  .. it only takes one good/lucky punch and the form/ability book goes out the window .. :)
