Schlupp wouldn't have to be named.... Thought it was prem only that named a 25 man squad?

It terms of laws in the game yes the prem is the only one in this country that needs to disclose a 25 man squad... i wasnt refering to laws though :)

This is all a far cry from the days when this man was in charge:

SSN were talking about Man City signing Aguero and they said there was an out going also...

"Johnson had signed for Leicester on loan" No mention of how long though..

He is quality, I would say he is alot better than Mark Davies. His quick and direct and will terrorise any defence in this league certainly adds another option in the middle. This is potentially our best signing if we can get him fit and firing....

Seriously wouldn't expect this chap to walk into the team. He'll have to prove he's still sharp and good enough to play for us, because despite all the bickering about different players, we do now have a quality midfield.

Good signing if he can regain the form he used to show, and adds great depth to the squad.

Good that he's on loan. The boy is quality but obviously very injury-prone, at least we can send him back if he gets crocked. Maybe if we go up and he plays 35 games (and plays well, obviously!) then we can get him permanently?

I'm pretty confident that he will be in the top 4 or 5 midfielders in the Champ if he stay injury free.

This is great. A quality squad, with depth! Looks like no-one's place in the starting XI is safe, and that is a good thing. It also means we should rarely have to use anyone who isn't fully fit. To be honest, I thought the midfield looked alright before talk of Johnson and Fernandes started, but now I'm hoping we can get them both in. A forward or two should be next, surely?

Just get those strikers on board now....we undoubtedly have depth in the midfield and 2 players for every defence position, and two decent goalkeepers with a third coming through the ranks...

Strikers, well that's a different story, right now I find it hard to see where our goals are coing from apart from the propbably-regular contribution from our midfield.

But yes, good signing if he stays injury free.
