Father Ted Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 Le Tissier and Gazza - cant remember ever watching them live as im 17 but from what I have was pure magic. Also, a young Dejan Stankovic was unplayable at times. From City, I would say Elliott or Izzet.
Raj Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 PLayers ive had the fortune to watch live who were Awesome (apart from our local heroes like Walsh,Izzet,Lennon etc!) were- Hoddle-remember him at Filbo more or less standing on the ball and our lot were too scarred to go near him!!! Letiss- is a great shout-Again at Filbo as a wrm up he was getting load of stick from the Kopites as he was striking the ball onto the crossbar...he did it about 4-5 times in a row from outside the box and eventually he got a generous round of applause....until the game began when he got shite as usual!!! Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 20 September 2011 Posted 20 September 2011 For me, as a nipper, I bloody loved Batistuta. Used to love watching James Richardson in some high-end cafe with a massive dessert on Saturday mornings on Channel 4 talking about Serie A. Same with Nedved, Del Piero, Shevchenko, and Pippo Inzaghi. For some reason I've always had a soft spot for Angelo Di Livio, too. Basically, most people's most hated list. No Hide Nakata?!
Guest MattP Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Bergkamp in the flesh. Maradona of all time.

Finchy Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Used to love watching James Richardson in some high-end cafe with a massive dessert on Saturday mornings on Channel 4 talking about Serie A. This, easily the best job in the world.
Austin Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Leicester - Izzet. Rest of the world - Xavi. Simply the best midfielder in the world.
Fox92 Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Steven Gerrard. Love him. Can pick a pass, tackle, score, good in the air, good long range shots, good vision, loyal to the club he loves... and he's scouse!! But I also admire; Dennis Bergkamp (in my opinion, the greatest player to ever play in the Premier League), Paulo Di Canio, Matt Le Tissier (very under-rated) and also Xavi. I also love, if I count players before I was born; George Best and Brian Clough. Fantastic! Players that make it look easy. In terms of Leicester, I like Izzet, Heskey to name a few, nowadays; Wellens. Xavi. Simply the best midfielder in the world. Agreed. I always say he is the best midfielder in the World.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Probably Fat Ronaldo for me. Rooney's got potential.
Raw Dykes Posted 21 September 2011 Posted 21 September 2011 Basically, most people's most hated list. How do I give a -1? Paul Gascoigne gets my vote.
