Reports of spectacularly dense chat at Caerdydd.

Maybe they're angry for people still paying money into the Murdoch empire by having a Sky TV subscription, incensed as they are by the phone hacking scandal.

I can pretend I cancelled my Sky subscription as a matter of principle and be all worthy but the reality is I'm too poor to be able to afford it

Reality is the biggest pain in my life!!!

The atmosphere was shite yesterday. And I'd say no more than 30 people sang this song so I would'nt get yer knickers in a tangle just yet

Think they only sang this as deep down they know who the sad cnuts really are

Great post!

I remember when I was younger listing to most of the games on the radio, even though I was a passionate fan. I couldn't go to most of the home games because my dad had work commitments and My elder brothers were not that "elderly" to take me, as the years past I got ST and watched them with my dad and gone away games etc.

I dont mind it when were on the TV it's a chance for the fans who like myself had to watch us on the BBC (or go round their mates house because they didnt have Sky like me) It gives these people who dont have the time/money etc to see our lads in action and put a smile on our faces.

Bilo, you should know by now that we have our fair share of retard fans!

You have to prioritise in life and LCFC has definetly slipped down my pecking order of late...still kick the Mrs up the Arsenal if we lose tho!!

Utter wa**ers if this is true.

I have Sky and a season ticket. I ain't forking out more cash to go watch us at Cardiff.

I go to around 6-10 away games per season, and it costs a fortune if you think about it.

How dare you call me a cu** or a sh** fan. 1/3 of my wages go towards football. F*** off!!!

I'm the last person to condone fan snobbery but it was only a silly chant. People take these things far too seriously.

I would've gone, but would probably would've needed to leave home on Friday to get there by train.

So TV it was.

But as a proper loyal fan, I'll be there on Saturday, watching the big TV screens in the ground as well as the actual match.

I too watched it on the box yesterday, and I don't know if its been mentioned, but during the minutes silence for the miners who lost their lives someone in the ground started baaaa'ing.

The camera was on the Cardiff fans at the time, and they righty looked pretty disgusted. Anyone else hear it? Hoping it wasn't our lot as thats pretty low.

Pretty sure it wasn't anyone in our end.

'If you're watching on the telly, you're a cunt.'

That's what some of our fans were singing about their fellow fans according to people who were there. Really lads? Really?

Some of us don't have the money or time to go to Cardiff, it isn't easy for everybody you know. Some of us have to work weekends, much like myself. Even when I start my new teaching job next week and stop working weekends, it'll be my GTP year and I make no apologies for prioritising my career over matches. Even if I didn't have a lot of work to do at weekends, I don't live in Leicester any more so travelling is pretty bloody pricey and I'm saving up for a new house. This again is my priority over going to places like the Madejski. These are the realities of life for many, many fans. This does not make us lesser fans, disloyal or 'cunts.' It means we have other commitments going on that must take priority over the game, in some people's cases the choice is between paying the rent/feeding their children or spending £100 or more on a day out. Which would you choose?

The fact we can't make the games does not mean we aren't following our team because we are. This might be on Radio Leicester listening to Strings, following the thread on Foxes Talk, listening to Five Live because we find the over-reactions to everything on the first two a little grating or, gulp, watch it on the telly or on an internet stream like I did (I refuse to line Rupert Murdoch's pockets on principle).

Kindly think before repeating the chant at our next 'live-on-TV' match at Birmingham. Thank

If true, I totally concur, and also agree with the rest of what you say.

Any so called fan who may have chanted this, is a total disgrace.

Bit of a silly chant but don't know why anyone would take it seriously.

I know how committed I am to City and I'm quite content with my attendances this season. What anyone else thinks just because I'm watching one game on sky means nothing.

It was a Cardiff fan in the section to our left, very strange behaviour, did it four or five times.

I've heard nothing on here about our fans disrupting the minute's silence, quite the opposite in fact. Posters on here and Ian Stringer said it was impeccably observed in our end.

Weirdly, I'd expect the Cardiff fans to have disrupted it before us with it being a silence for deceased miners in Swansea. The depth of enmity in South Wales isn't a secret.

On the Cardiff forum someone said it was a disabled fan

A typically eloquent post from you Bilo but I'm surprised you actually care enough to write it. If there's a group of people I'm less bothered about being called a cunt by than a small minority of moronic Leicester fans then I'm yet to meet them. I imagine they may just have been jealous of all the people that hadn't spent hundreds of pounds and hours of travelling to watch a shit football match. In Wales as well.

Bilo makes a very good point and James equally so.

If all the poster in this forum were as level-headed as you guy's, it'd be boring in here. :P

Some form of Tourette`s maybe ...

To be fair I thought it may have been someone with a disability as it was a strange sound as I said and noticeably nobody challenged it. If it was someone being an idiot I would have expected other fans to have told them to shut up. With hind sight it was a noise that a mentally handicapped person would make.

My thoughts exactly, really (besides one obvious gripe - you tit.)

I'm really fed up of these threads and these arguments, really. You aren't going to change the opinions of a few moronic children, most of whom likely don't even read Foxes Talk in the first place.

You say you're posting on your friends behalf so why exactly do you feel the need to justify yourself in detail? Whilst well phrased, Rob, your original post still reads more like an excuse than any sort of rant. Almost seems like you were bothered by the chant, like you feel the need to join in their pissing contest.

I'd just roll your eyes, turn the other cheek and don't give them the satisfaction; you're better than them.

No. Just no. Not cool.
