Podge Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 A secret agent sent by Sven to ruin the tree's season and doing the job perfectly.
pSinatra Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Just because you were once England manager..........that doesn't necessarily make you a great manager!! Eh Sven???
marko Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Resigned. Thought he was too arrogant to ever walk.
Kilworthfox Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Resigned. Thought he was too arrogant to ever walk. He never had a chance! He was doing a great job & now they have gone & ruined it for all of us, scumbag board!
ousefox Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Don't know where he is going to get another job in England now. He's showed he's a good club manager by his time at boro and Forest gave him little money to play with, just don't know who will want to employ him next.
Steven Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Steve McClaren resigns as manager of Nottingham Forest
acooling08 Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 From the Beeb: anager Steve McClaren and chairman Nigel Doughty have both resigned from their roles at Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest.McClaren held a two-hour meeting with Doughty, who will remain as the club's owner, after Sunday's 3-1 defeat against Birmingham at the City Ground. Former England boss McClaren had been in charge at Forest since 13 June. Forest are currently fourth from bottom in the Championship, having collected eight points from 10 games. McClaren was reportedly unhappy about being unable to sign two loan players. "He was going to walk out anyway, I understand," said BBC Radio 5 live's Pat Murphy. "He'd hoped to go out on a high note after the game today against Birmingham. "He was upset at not being able to secure two Premiership players on loan terms. The chairman felt the wages would be too high." More to follow.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Chairman going is a huge blow for them financially, he has put serious money in over the years. Brian Laws anyone?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Ha god they are shite. How we didnt beat them 3/4 nil I dont know. Doubt they will go down though.
Happy Fox Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 If MON took over as manager I would feel quite sad
Guest Bilo Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 If MON took over as manager I would feel quite sad Without serious investment, that's very unlikely. Most Forest fans on their forum are expecting a pretty underwhelming appointment.
jonthefox Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Without serious investment, that's very unlikely. Most Forest fans on their forum are expecting a pretty underwhelming appointment. non league nige ?.
Jon the Hat Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Feel a bit sorry for him to be honest. Seem like avdecent bloke, trying his best, handcuffed by a shit club with a shit owner.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 Looking on LTLF, the most commonly occurring names are Roy Keane and Sean O'Driscoll. Brian Laws has also been mentioned due to his playing career with Forest. The general belief is that MON wouldn't join while unless there was new investment. It's fair to say most of their fans think they're more likely to be battling relegation than going for promotion.
Night Air Posted 2 October 2011 Posted 2 October 2011 I thought MON left Aston Villa due to the lack of investment? If so why join forest?
