I'm tempted to do even more reading into this case as I've found it quite fascinating. I still think the Italian supreme court will overturn the verdict again.

She was ordered to spend 3 years in jail yesterday (already served) and pay him £50,000 compensation (which she wont) for what she did to him. The slander cost him his freedom, had the eyes of the world on him as a murderer and he lost his business over it because of Knox's lies. Vile.

She's simply got away with this because of how poorly the police handled the case (cross contamination of vital evidence). I read a book on this whole case a few years back and it looks like Rudy Guede will now take the full force of the punishment, quite staggering when he has obviously pleaded guilty due to the unjust legal system pressuring him into doing so. Also, atleast his recollection of events had substance which was later found to be correct (fesces in the toilet etc.) yet Knox, who changed her tale various times to suit that of her knife adoring boyfriend', had eye witness accounts against her stating that she bought bleach the following morning from the local store. Then she also tried to frame her former boss Lumumba who looked 'similar' to Guede, who was only cleared when a Swedish professor backed up his alibi of talking in a local bar. Small details like that definitely shouldn't have been over looked!

Small details like that definitely shouldn't have been over looked! I think anybody who has done any in depth reading of the case realises Knox and Rafa were involved in some way shape or form. The Italian police have a lot to answer for, they knew they had the right people but seemed to be so confident they forget about normal procedure, probably didnt account for the mass hysteria over the case internationally as well. They have let a lot of people down.

Also the man who claims that Amanda Knox had baught bleach from his store was found to be lying on several occasions in his statement. He has also been a key witness in 3 other murder trials. His co-worker claims that they never saw knox the day after the murder buying bleach

She does very well in pulling on the heart strings of her nation and telling them to fu*k off and leave her alone until the book is out / TV appearance / paper interview when they can all buy it then and make her rich.
