Sven sacked?

Here we go, how old are you 18? lol Mr Billy big bollocks again, thinking you've been there and done it and are so much more knowledgeable than everyone else. Call me a tool if it makes you feel better but it's you who is made to look like one.

I've been hearing get behind your manager all this time, but if it's not Sven it seems so many don't want to get behind them.

Sven wasn't doing his job properly, you go on about points, well if we were top of the league and playing the same it'd have saved him, but we're bottom half! Yes we're only so many points of top 2 but performances are the bigger picture at this stage.

No, we don't want to get behind someone who will disgrace our club.

I'll have no patience for the likes of Roy Keane, Alan Shearer, Ian Dowie & George Burley because all have the management ability of a decapitated trout, while Bryan Robson is an insult to football after the whole Joe Sim scandal.

Points on the board > performances on the pitch in terms of success, look at Stoke - I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty crowbar than watch them, but they get results and reached the FA Cup final last year, in the Europa league this year.

Martin O'Neill 11/8 Billy Davies 5/1

Mark Hughes 9/1 Carlo Ancelotti 10/1

Rafael Benitez 12/1 Alan Curbishley 12/1

Roy Keane 12/1 Alan Shearer 12/1

Steve McClaren 12/1 Simon Grayson 14/1

Slaven Bilic 14/1 Marcelo Lippi 16/1

Gordan Strachan 16/1 Stuart Pearce 16/1

Didier Deschamps 16/1 David Moyes 20/1

Lee Clark 20/1 Neil Lennon 20/1

Nigel Adkins 20/1 Glenn Hoddle 20/1

Dave Jones 20/1 Steve Bruce 25/1

David O'Leary 33/1 Gary Lineker 33/1

Steve Claridge 100/1

O'Neill pretty much favorite for most jobs, so wouldn't read to much into that

I hope those people that stuck up for Sven so much will not hold that against the next manager.

Will the "manager out" brigade give the new man more than 8 games before writing them off and being nothing but negative about them from then on then?

Millwall wasn't a one off. There have been periods in most games where it has been close to that bad. The fact it didn't happen yesterday or first thing today shows to me that they have somebody lined up and could be ready to pounce/confirm this. I'm not saying it's a great decision, maybe he needed longer, but come on look to the future, and hope that the new gaffer has the right ideas, corrects the faults and moves us forward. All of you criticizing the descision accept it and if it proves right at the end of the season then everybody will applaud the owners, if not then you can say 'told you so'.

I'm baffled with this decision however, we have a tough game coming up and the club is in turmoil. Only if Martin O'Neill is lined up will this make any sense....

Bit of a shock to see this this early in the season at least they should have gave him until xmas. another merry go round of managers and players in and out.

Hopefully we get someone from the UK with a bit of passion as thats all that was missing from Sven, if you cant speak flewent english then there aint going to be no shouting or passion in that dressing room and thats for sure and this will rub off throughout the season we need someone who will get at the players and give them something to fear.

Dont get me wrong I think Sven is a pretty good manager, one of the best weve had since MON or Adams, but im sure that passion is lacking and thats whats needed to get out this league. Last season all 3 teams that got promoted where managed by a british manager. nuff said and the seasons before that.

Odds are very low on MON 8/11 could be a sign that hes on his way back! I mean he was down the training ground before Sven signed last year.

If its not MON then I would say Neil Lennnon.. history with the club / getting so much hate in Scotland has managed for a few years now wouldnt be a suprise.( You heard it here First)

awful decision in my opinion. Far too early. I know last weeks results and performances were disappointing, but before that we were unbeaten in 7 having beaten S'ton, Derby and Brighton. Looking around at who would be available, I fear this is a worse decision than offering Sousa a job as any more than a potwasher.

Maybe, not expecting an appointment within 48 hours, but with Sven at the helm i had not expectation of more than a point or two from the next two games anyway, so if we don't confirm anyone this week i don't think we're going to lose out too much. Main thing the new guy is in in time for the international break to get the squad together.

The guy has been given everything a manager could want to be a success, but the last three performances have been utter utter shite. I think it's too early though, and we're going to be left with a lot of players who came here because of Sven.

No reason to believe the best ones won't react professionally and, with a more positive system and philosophy, they might actually start doing themselves justice. Good players will react well to a good manager so it's the new appointment that's important. And not only of the manager but (presumably) the coaches too.

I think your anti-Sven stance and the one of your fellow Sven-haters sums you lot up perfectly for me.

From the moment that man walked through our doors, it's been all but negativity from your corner.

He could but fail.

What a terrific attitude!

Enjoy your happy Monday evening with your cheap bottle of champagne.

I'm just livid.

****ing joke of a club this has become with an increasing number of joke fans.

I'm out (for a while).

Not at all, up until February I was very happy with him, but it's been all downhill since then.

I am in shock to be honest, but isn't this is a clear statement that the Thai owners will not accept anything other than premiership football this season. What worries me is what will happen if we are not successful.

I am totally shocked and thought Sven would get us up. However, I am not a big Steve Howard fan but that rallying call when he came on against Derby showed an appetite for the badge that has been sorely missing.

I can't say I rate any of those managers but I don't rate Sven either. I said there's no point sacking Sven unless we have a decent replacement lined up, but I'm not sorry he's gone because he's not good enough.

Yeh Stoke, at least they have a manager who can motivate his players! Our players may like Sven as a person but that doesn't mean they believe in him as a manager or will fight for him, because clearly they won't judging by our performances.

I don't mind shit football so much if it's effective, the stuff we are playing is not only rubbish to watch but is also getting us nowhere.

Throw your toys out the pram if you like but I expect you to give the next manager as much patience as you gave Sven!

Cannot believe we are after another manager again lol

God help the new man if he doesn't like Dyer, Howard and Waghorn. ;)

I can, it's an annual event at this club.
