Stopper Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Just been thinking how Waghorn would view the departure of Sven. It gives him yet another chance to try and prove himself at Leicester under yet another manager. Whilst i have confidence in Nugent, Beckford, Vas etc, imagine what O'neill may be able to do with Waghorn. After all, we have all seen what he can do with the likes of Lennon, Izzet etc.... this could just kick start the lads career. I stress that i am not a Waggy, Fryatt etc fanatic, Waghorn has not done enough to cement a place in the side, but maybe just maybe............

bluesbrothers Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Just imagine what he can do with .............. (insert name here) Akinbiyi available?
irishgus Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Yeah id like to see Waghorn given another chance but maybe im saying that because I was a big big fan. But saying that hes not exactly doing that much at Hull either. But as you say under MON he might come to be the player we all thought he would!!
Dan Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 I think Waghorn's best just staying at Hull, I really do.
Corky Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Just imagine what he can do with .............. (Steve Howard)
StanSP Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Spend the £20m on getting Hobbs, Waghorn and Fryatt back. WORTH IT.
themotivator Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 i was actually thinking about which players i was disapointed sven had shunned or left out.... i dont think there are any that worth getting upset about. changes squad around.... inconsistency he keeps playing the same players... favouritism im much more annoyed about sven's departure than waggy. no i havent forgotten that loan spell. i just think that there are a thousand players capable of achieving what he has.
Corky Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Spend the £20m on getting Hobbs, Waghorn and Fryatt back. WORTH IT. Spending money on getting a player we already own back to the club. Like it.
Burmesefox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Wagyy can trap a ball further than I can kick it. He has the touch of an elephant.
themotivator Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Spending money on getting a player we already own back to the club. Like it. you are forgetting that fryatt and hobbs are worth 10mil each these days. they are absolute demigods of the championship. all thanks to lord pearsons alchemic tutoring methods.
berniethebolt Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 how many times do we have to try and polish this turd? Let him go! Should MON return I'd rather he focused on getting our current squad gelling and pushing us towards promotion, than wasting time on the history.
Leicesterpool Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Waghorn overrated much rather have stuck with Matty Fryatt.
StanSP Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Spending money on getting a player we already own back to the club. Like it. That's how we roll.
lefox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Just imagine what he could have doen with.... Junior Lewis.
ian the fox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 When Jermaine Beckford has beaten Waghorns goalscoring record , I may then consider him to be a superior player ........ When David Nugent has beaten Waghorns goalscoring record , I may then consider him to be a superior player .................. Untill that happens the jury will always be out , as i can make a judgement for myself .........................................................
Corky Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 When David Nugent has beaten Waghorns goalscoring record , I may then consider him to be a superior player .................. Nugent is a far superior all-round player. Touch, technique, finishing.
