I swear some people would prefer to watch us lose 5-4 rather than an ugly 1-0 win

Got their BBC post match coverage on. Hopefully they'll interview him soon.

They've got a phone in now, no doubt we'll get slated lol

Doing exactly the same!

Wow people moaning about Pearsons style of football... Some people have short memories... Remember Paulo 'I will play sexy football' Sousa and Sven '4-5-1 no plan b' goran-Ericsson. Pearsons football wasnt all that bad at all. I will always remember the Blackpool and QPR away games under him, proper victories.

spot on, and strangely it seems to be all the MON hopers who are moaning about the style of football, i can tell you one thing i prefered NP's footy to MONS, granted MON sure got the results but it certainly wasnt pretty!

Where have these ficticious ugly 1-0 wins got us for as long as i care to remember? Precisely nowhere.

Under Pearson, into the playoffs.

For what its worth - twitter conversation with manish bhasin off the telly who's at KC today.

@bbc_manish is pearson looking like a man about to leave and join #lcfc?

1 hour ago via web

@geoffnimrod not really. Mr Allardyce had a cheeky word in his ear at the start... Maybe ribbing him about speculation

On a related matter - if the owners are aware of all the MON speculation and aren't intending to appoint him they need to do some rapid managing of expectations, otherwise the poor sod who does take over will disappoint us all no matter who he is.

I watched the Hull game. Pearson never waved goodbye to the fans, if that's any indication. :dunno:

Did you honestly think he would?

Even he had signed a contract and was waiting to be unveiled, it'd be highly unlikely he'd wave and just ruin the conference totally.

Probably shitting it at the thought of interviewing Pearson

Let´s get it Leicester with or without Pearson (prefering caretakers) :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

Oh give over. MON filled his teams with people who carried a major goal threat and made sure we attacked with purpose. How many goals do we score from centre-back now? Hardly any. But Walsh and Elliott were major assault weapons because they want it and mean it.

And what about the rest of our attacking presence in the box? Who the hell have we got to match the combined threat of Heskey, Marshall, Cottee and Izzett in the box?

Together with the centre-backs we put the wind up everyone especially with the likes of Guppy able to aim in pinpoint crosses. And that was against the likes of the Arsenal of Bergkamp and Henry etc, not Barnsley and Scunthorpe. I'm not painting MON any more colourfully than he deserves and would sooner look ahead with the likes of OGS or even Di Matteo for the future.

But there's no diluting MON's achievements here and on an extremely modest budget. One day Pearson might evolve well enough to kiss his feet. But that time's a way off yet seeing as his sorry attitude to away matches didn't even get us out of the Championship.
