Nigel Pearson?

he found being asked the question irritating as theyre preparing for a match. again he doesnt say he isnt interested.

This is what annoys me, if you're not interested and being asked about it is annoying then say "I'm going nowhere, I have a job to do here".

Maybe there is a reason he didn't say that....?

Pearson doesn't seem the type of person who wants to revisit his old haunts. He's never done it as a player or a manager.

I doubt he'd want the upheaval. I'd prefer MON or Hughes anyway, maybe even Dave Jones.

Probably out of respect for us, not burning your bridges, negotiating a new contract... could be many a reason.

He and his blow dried shit hair can stay in Hull, in fact all the managers can **** off. Put Rudkin in charge, I don't give a shit anymore.

I've just heard that too actually, but they said it was mentioned on RL so i'm not overly confident it's true, i've been listening to the radio the past 10 mins to see if anything is mentioned

Here we go again... Until Pearson says

"I'm not interested" he has not ruled himself out. The words being said have meanings, and it's not "I'm ruling myself out".

He clearly states in those words that he doesnt want the job if you read it without goggles on.

No he doesn't.

He had the opportunity to close the subject, without the need for an answer that can be interpreted different ways. He chose not to take it for whatever reason, only he knows the reason.

I'm not saying he wants it, or us even interested. Just that it is in no way a clear "no".

I can't see why Pearson would leave Hull, just would seem a strange move. Keep seeing people say he doesn't like flair players, he has Robbie Brady playing for his Hull side.

Not sure on the style he will bring but if you look at Hull this season, don't score many but don't get beat too often.

That comment seems starkly clear to me.

He's ruling out nothing and is getting irritated being pressed to talk about something he wants to remain private - not least because he might unwittingly make life awkward for himself.

Had he wished to close the subject he could have said: "I'm aware of and flattered by Leicester's interest but have no wish to leave Hull and my only intention this season is to help them win promotion."

"Can I make it any plainer? If not that's the end of the subject today, tomorrow and for the rest of the season..."

Said at the end of the Boot Room today that Pearson has officially ruled himself out

Case closed

Said at the end of Ballard's show that that speculation is purely that - speculation. Seems it could be Pearson after all (just as it could be Hughes, MON, Keane, Me, You or Princess Leia)
