Green will meet his maker and hopefully it'll be instant death. Cretin.

If only those City fans that were trying to get on the pitch did cos Green would have got floored!

Didn't just refuse to shake Green's hand and tell him why he was being an utter cvnt. He also had a bloody good game today. Amidst the "big names" and the high profile signings he looks the sort of player who will quietly establish himself as a key man this season.

What a silly thing to say. Have a word with yourself, its only football.

Did you not listen to Bill Shankly? It's much more than that!

Although, being objective, think he was at fault with their third goal. Should have got nearer the man for the route one flick on. But great header to force a good save from Green and high energy performance throughout. With Schmichael and Nugent, the best of sven's signings (but he was probably Faz's)

Should always shake win or lose whatever has gone on on the pitch. One of the first things you should teach kids is that sort of respect on a field.

No doubt some fans will "love it" because most football fans are buffoons.

Perhaps we should teach them that respect isn't automatic and has to be earned.

Shaking hands after a game shouldn't need to be "earned" no wonder people look down on football.

what did green do?

Got a bit of abuse from our fans, the usual chant e.g 'you'll never play for England...'

At the end of the game when the whistle went for FT he left hsi goal to the right of outr fans and ran over shouting and waving his arms. We were fairly near the pitch and my Dad says he heard him say '**** off'.

Shocking if true. I actually liked Green before today.

We'd given him loads of stick; he was entitled to give a little back.

He went way over the top.

I found Green's actions amusing, he got a fair bit of stick, gave it back but the way he went about it you'd think he'd won the league, not scraped through against a side who Millwall beat 3-0 last week.
