Corky Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Both parties want it sorted as soon as possible, I can't see it dragging on for too long.
Burmesefox Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 the longer it goes on the worse for Hull too as they are effectively managerless
lcfcbaby Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Hull are trying to get as much money out of Leicester as possible. But the longer they make it last the less time they have To get a manager in place for their match next weekend.
Fox92 Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 They are trying to get as much money from Leicester as possible. The owner's will be sensible about this, but if they really want Pearson they will just pay it.

The Doctor Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Hull don't have to wait for Pearson to go to employ someone else. Err, they do. They can start searching for a new manager, but they can't employ a new one until Pearson leaves, otherwise they'd be in breach of Pearson's contract. As such that new manager can't start taking training or working with the players until Pearson leaves and the new man can be officially employed.

They can stick Pearson on gardening leave and employ a 'Head Coach'. It's happened many times.
hackneyfox Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 So much for your buddy GTIF on Bentleys, pure speculation. I know hes had a few things go right in the past but hes just like the majority in the dark I'd rather hear nothing than bullshit to get our hopes up. Why lie? Remember the thread MON in talks the first line was in the Belfry as we speak. Whatever Whatever?????? I don't give a **** who gives me info. I'm seriously concerned that they didn't talk to MON or Hughes. Either, for me, would be a much netter choice than Pearson.
cc_star Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Christ... A whole thread that can be answered by just following Stringer or Bourne from RL or Tanner from the Merc or listening to the news. Hull are playing hardball as any businessman 'selling' something to multi-millionaires would
gogogoagan Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 has anyone got any news about our new manager that is not based on rumours from the press

Either, for me, would be a much netter choice than Pearson. I can understand why you would want MON but it is unknown whether he was generally ever interested or not. But why Hughes? What has he got to offer that Pearson hasn't?
woddyuk Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Moses has just come out of the desert after not seeing a single soul for 50 years. He asks The first man he meets" have they found shergar? Has lord lucan turned up ? Has charlie nicholas scored for arsenal yet? Anyone heard from suzy lamplugh? England won a second world cup? & HAS PEARSON GONE BACK TO LEICESTER YET ??? "

Happy Fox Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Why don't we just pay the money, either we are not that bothered or we are trying to find a compromise. Couldn't Pearson resign as his position at Hull is already untenable? Or in the unlikely scenario we are pursuing other options.
Mack Posted 10 November 2011 Author Posted 10 November 2011 The longer this goes on I can see Pearson getting the hump with the whole thing and telling us and Hull to piss off.
Happy Fox Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 StringerSport Ian Stringer Still no word from Hull or Leicester camp on Pearson's move. Although compensation is clearly an issue surely there's no turning back now? 5 minutes ago
flowwolf Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Enticing their manager away mid-season because we've fooked up is rude in fact it's more than rude especially after they took him on because we didn't think he was good enough. Abso bloody lutley ! thank god someone else sees things as they really are :appl: :appl: .
nuttytimmy Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Report on the situation, worth a read if only for my marvellous graphical skills (i.e. giving Vichai and Assam horns!)
flowwolf Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Tell you what if Pearson is worth a million then i'm a china man and Mills is worth 5 million.
foxoffderby Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Abso bloody lutley ! thank god someone else sees things as they really are :appl: :appl: . Disagree Davie G says we let him go, well I didn' the club did. Lee Hoos and Pearson fell out not Pearson and the majority of fans. I met Pearson last season after the Hull game and I told him so to his face. I was happy with him first time round and gutted when he went. I for one will be happy again when he returns. Best manager in my lifetime alongside MON and Brian Little.

MPH Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 StringerSport Ian Stringer Still no word from Hull or Leicester camp on Pearson's move. Although compensation is clearly an issue surely there's no turning back now? 5 minutes ago I don't blame Hull one bit... we have very cleverly announced to the whole football world we have money and they want as much as they can get from us. Fair play to them. However, I think the longer it goes on the more Hull will start to get uneasy as they will want a manager in themselves and cant really get one in until Pearson has gone... which seems inevitable now.. " oh wait i feel sorry for Leicester.. sure they are taking our manager but lets make this quick and easy for them so they can get their promotion charge on and possibly dent our own.." I dont think so....
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 November 2011 Posted 10 November 2011 Right this is whats going to happen, If the compensation isn't sorted out Pearson will resign.
