SMX11 Posted 11 December 2011 Share Posted 11 December 2011 I think it is realistic with the funds we will have in January probs £10m+ They are in teams above us and actually have a chance to get into the automatics. It isn't all about money.
Langston Posted 11 December 2011 Share Posted 11 December 2011 Marvin Sordell - realistic shout? Improved vastly over the past few seasons, is still young but has proved he can finish in this league. Craig Dawson from WBA, great goal scoring centre half who's seen virtually no game time since moving to Albion. Gary Roberts of Huddersfield is far too good for League One and could provide the creativity on the wings that we've been lacking.

dannythefox Posted 11 December 2011 Share Posted 11 December 2011 I don't think we need to go crazy and spend loads of money but we need a winger and a midfielder. Why wont he try Moussa in instead of wellens ever time i've seen him play he's done well, he ran the show away at Leeds last season and my granddad who watches Donny every week said he did very well there. Leicester_Loyal Posted 11 December 2011 Share Posted 11 December 2011 A whole brand new look midfield, new centre back, new left back and new striker. Bamba and Mills are a great partnership. Konchesky is a quality LB, one of the best in England outside of the Prem. I agree about the midfield though.
Jimmy Posted 11 December 2011 Share Posted 11 December 2011 Kenwyne Jones, not playing at Stoke but most of the prem would take him ahead of us
City Fox Posted 12 December 2011 Share Posted 12 December 2011 Few of my Sunderland mates were talking yesterday about this kid Ryan Noble they've got warming there bench Three hattricks in four games for the reserves think he's got something like eleven in his last five. Wouldn't mind a lad like that he sounds just what we need. I know it's only for the reserves but sounds like he's got a good eye for goal. Off to there next reserve game so will do a little scouting for Pearson

bluearmyfox23 Posted 12 December 2011 Share Posted 12 December 2011 Stewart. Snodgrass. Adomoah. Koren. Maynard. Sharp. Jutkiewicz. Would love these all depending on departures - Gallagher, Wellens, Howard, Vassell ( based on his injury and contract), Schlupp ( Would rather see him out on loan if he Carnt get into the city squad)
Donut Posted 12 December 2011 Share Posted 12 December 2011 Jacob Butterfield would be a good choice as the central midfielder with a bit of creative spark Geroge Boyd and Jimmy Kebe, versatile wingers

Happy Fox Posted 12 December 2011 Share Posted 12 December 2011 Lewis McGugan from the red c**ts up the road £1.5m a steal if you ask me http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/transfer-news/Transfer-gossip-Nottingham-Forest-set-to-sell-Lewis-McGugan-to-fund-new-signings-article842273.html Steve Cotterill is ready to cash in on £1.5million-rated playmaker Lewis McGugan to save Nottingham Forest from relegation. Swalker Posted 12 December 2011 Share Posted 12 December 2011 Kebe Heard a rumour about zamora leaving fulham. Would be a good signing but hard to fit all 3 strikers on because nugent and beckford are playing well atm Wittingham
Langston Posted 12 December 2011 Share Posted 12 December 2011 There's a reason Forest want rid. Scored of a couple of pearlers - (that free-kick against Ipswich in particular was a worldie) but other than that, very limited player. Solid, not spectacular, tailed off last season after a good start and we've already got terribly inconsistent midfielders in King and Wellens, we don't need to add to that. I'd take Whittingham over him in a heartbeat.
Kitchandro Posted 12 December 2011 Share Posted 12 December 2011 McGugan has a real attitude problem. No thanks.
Dan LCFC Posted 13 December 2011 Share Posted 13 December 2011 Ricardo Fuller isn't a bad shout, always been a class act at this level. Cameron Stewart, Robbie Brady, Jimmy Kebe, Jobi McAnuff all interest me as far as a winger goes. I'd be delighted to see Mark Davies return, superb player. bluearmyfox23 Posted 13 December 2011 Share Posted 13 December 2011 I can honestly see 6 departures : Ball, Johnson, Moussa (loan), Schlupp (loan), Howard and Moreno but I can also see us bringing in 6 players in Maynard/sharp, Adomoah, Stewart, Koren, Jutkiewicz, Clyne That would be my wish list
foxoffderby Posted 13 December 2011 Share Posted 13 December 2011 McGugan has a real attitude problem. No thanks. Really whats he done? I would have him in my starting lineup, the boy has the ability to do the unexpected. Some of the goals he scores are top notch. I would rotate him with Andy King.
