Fvck the respect campaign

Yet again, we get an absolutely diabolical referee. I think I called him every name under the sun, the useless cvnt.

Their penalty was marginal and I couldn't tell so fair enough, but the Kop seemed adamant it wasn't a penaly. Then the free kick that led indirectly to their goal (we didn't regain possession until they scored) was an absolute joke. Then Beckford beats a defender to set himself up for a 1 on 1 and gets taken out. HOW is it not a goalscoring oppurtunity you worthless bald shitbag???? Yellow card my grannys wrinkly arse. A red card so early changes the whole game and puts us in prime position for the win.

Besides critical game changing decisions as mentioned above, the amount of petty free kicks he gave was unbelieveable. Some of his decisions literally had me and the people around me laughing in disbelief; we were simply so gobsmacked we couldn't believe what he'd given.

Yes, people will say 'We weren't good enough' or either bollocks like 'It evens itself out' but ask yourself how many points have shit refs cost us this season?

So basically FA, fvck the Respect Campaign until we have referees that are competant enough to respect.

IMHO, when Beckford was through, it was the correct decision not to give a red card. He got a few niggly decisions wrong but apart from that I thought he did fine.

Ref got 3 major decisions right. The free kick leading to their goal was a joke though.

Their penalty - yes, Konchesky definitely trips him. The Beckford incident - touch and go, he is heading wide, but isn't that far off centre - perhaps just the wrong side of the post and his control is crap - touch and go, yellow is possibly soft but I've not many complaints.

As for our penalty - I would be fvcking livid if that went against us, it's kicked onto his hand, which isn't raised up trying to block, from very close range. Incredibly soft to give.

I don't see how you can blame the ref today, we simply weren't good enough and the ref didn't get much wrong against us. The free-kick up to their goal - yes, but that, in my mind, is entirely negated by our penalty.

Can't keep blaming referees for our shit performances.

Schmichael saved their penalty and we still conceded without the ball even getting over the halfway line - our fault!!

That's what I saw mate,

Looked like the ref gave us a get out of jail free card.

For me their penalty was a dead sert and Konc should have got red, ours was soft, the ref saved us from being down to 10 men, and getting stuffed.

I blame Sven

He was crap.

I don't think he's particularly cost us, but more inept decision making, their penalty was dubious, as was ours, Beckford, that was more of a red than Mills v Hull.

Whilst the general standard of refereeing remains as bad as what we've seen this season, the Respect Campaign can go and fook itself..

Can ANYONE explain why the foul on Beckford wasnt a straight red card? I can't for the life of me understand that decision?

Wasn't heading directly at goal and there was another defender near by. Decision could've gone either way.

Because they had a covering defender. It was a close call though. If he had sent off Konch, then in my view their guy would have

gone too.

Konchesky denied a clear goalscoring chance and wasn't even booked
