Billy Sharp

We'll offer just as much dough as Fulham and he doesn't have to move. Or he can go to Fulham and sit on the bench as Zamora, Ruiz, Johnson, Dembele, Frei and others are all in front of him.

dont forget Orlando Sa too ;)

I agree Fulham would not be a good move for sharpe they have a lot of strikers already. Im not just saying that because I want him at leicester he has to do whats right for his career and his family I cant see him going to fulham personally I still expect him to sign for us in the next couple of days. I hope he sees sense and comes to us I dont think hes the type of player who would settle in london myself.

This is for People that can't read properly.

I've not said Sharp is going to sign for Fulham. Just that there's an interest from them. He's gonna weigh up all the options possible.

If he had half a brain he'd choose Fulham. Then again... £££££££££££

Well depends if he wants first team football or would prefer to warm a bench... Can't see him getting to much game time at Fulham they have a lot of good strikers.

Is Billy Sharp really worth 30k a week ??????

Definitely! Think of all the potential shirt sales and marketing possibilities e.g. Sharp items the club could sell etc.

Sky Sports understands that Doncaster will attempt to keep Billy Sharp at the Keepmoat Stadium by offering him a new deal.

Rovers confirmed over the weekend they had reluctantly accepted a bid from Championship rivals Leicesterspacer.gif for the striker.

Whilst granting the Foxes permission to speak to Sharp, spacer.gifDoncaster manager Dean Saunders remained hopeful that he would decide not to leave.

And it is now understood that Doncaster major shareholder Dick Watson has put up the money to offer Sharp a new deal in an effort to hold on to the 25-year-old.

Sharp has been a key player for Doncaster since arriving from Sheffield Unitedspacer.gif in 2009, having previously plied his trade with Scunthorpe.

Greeting's foxes just a few points and what we are hearing about Sharp....

Firstly if he was talking to you today he did it by phone as after the debacle of saturday we had a full day of training today and Sharp was there for both sessions..

We are obviousley going to lose Sharp in the next couple of weeks, wether it's you or the other host of clubs sniffing around. It doesn't matter who to us really, due to a clause in his contract whoever matches it has to be automatically accepted provided the terms of payment are acceptable so nobody will bid above that and you can bet your bottom dollar everyone is aware what that fee is...

There has been a few snippets today..Firstly someone claims to have spoken to him at the match who claims Sharp said he wanted a crack at premier football and would wait to see who else came in for him....But then someone else close to him has claimed that the rough figures given to his agent cant be turned down really..

I guess nobody really knows, our transfer coordinator Mr Mackay is supposedley trying to convince him to stay till the summer but even as 30 year die hard Rover if i was Sharp on less than 10k a week i would be off like a robbers dog too....

He score's goals for fun but hasn't got the game for premier football in my humble opinion.....

Cheers to the donny fans POV, anyway, don't listen to everything posted on twitter ect, I thought you would have learnt that over the summer! How many times did we hear that Nugent was off somewhere else, or Schmeichel was off somewhere else, at the moment we only know what has been presented to us, I think at some point this week he will be a Leicester player, we just have to hang tight. Do you think Nigel is taking is just sat in his chair smoking a fat cigar waiting for sharp to walk through the door? I would be surprised I we didn't capture him without a fight!

If he wants to stay at Donny then that's fine good luck to him but he could be in league one next season and I would be surprised if he wants that. He wont move to Fulham it means upping sticks for his family and he would'nt be number one striker they can get better than sharp.
