cc_star Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 if we cant attract a Doncaster playeron our wage structure etc theres something sadly wrong! Like Premiership interest Like the fact he may not want to move & if someone like Leeds went in for him, he won't need to Like the fact he may want to help save Donny from the drop, before maybe earning a Prem move in the summer The very fact he's not dropped his moral & come for the coin in the blink of an eye is a good thing, he's the type of character we need in the team... Hopefully (if we get him) he's the type of player too
wellyfox Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 if we cant attract a Doncaster playeron our wage structure etc theres something sadly wrong! Any old donny player yes I agree. But Billy has reasons not to move and I for one would not blame him if he stayed with them. Not everything is about MONEY

Phil Gee's Mullet Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 He will be on while they have something to play for. Lets hope they are 4 down after 20 mins. Or 4-0 up after 20 minutes - In a glass half full kinda way.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 Will hopefully be a really good signing

LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 Sharp to be on the bench tomorrow just like Scholes was when United first found out he joined That would be a lovely surprise
Kitchandro Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 Or 4-0 up after 20 minutes - In a glass half full kinda way. I hope so, they could go above Forest and pull Cardiff closer to us.
Phil Gee's Mullet Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 I hope so, they could go above Forest and pull Cardiff closer to us. So a win win win situation then!
Guest shearfox Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 So a win win win situation then! Well if he don't get injured...
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 I think he just wants to have one last game with Donny to say goodbye, hope he doesn't get injured though... If true, ridiculous. Say we draw 0-0 at home to Barnsley tomorrow in desperate need of a striker to put a chance away to win us the match and we've agreed to wait for Sharp to have his farewell love-in at a club that he's been at for a couple of seasons or so. A goodbye can be said in a newspaper, on a radio or in a television interview. Let's not forget, Donny aren't his first club, the team he supports, or any of that. If Sharp wants to join us for footballing reasons (which should be the motive behind any move) then he would want to give us the best chance of winning. If Pearson feels he's what we need then we need him in the team now, or at least not risking any kind of injury tomorrow. If II were Pearson I would have given an ultimatum: either you genuinely and wholeheartedly want to join us and are willing to sacrifice playing for Doncaster tomorrow (or ever again) or you don't join. Simple as.

Craig Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 What about the support the club gave him when his Son died? He's bound to feel an affinity with them after that.
Corky Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 I've no problem with him having a farewell game, we bought the current strikers because we thought they were good enough, so they should prove it when given the chance.

Number 6 Posted 13 January 2012 Posted 13 January 2012 The fact that he wants a fairwell game just makes me like him even more. Top bloke. He'll score too.
