Bellend Sebastian Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 They have been like this for as long as I can remember when it comes to the issue of race/war anything along those lines, any anti white racism you wont hear a peep out of the Anti-facist groups, I remember when the Stop the War coalition was at its peak in 2004 and Russia drove it tanks in Georgia, of course, not even a squeal as soon as their commie buddies decided to cause some havoc. Yes that's a sensible argument. In a sea of nonsense, comrade Matthew. I aim to please Hang on a minute Bellend not sure as to what you allude ? If you want my opinion on the Stephen Laurence Murder I will give it to you. I felt ashamed of our police service who let Stephen and his family down so badly which in it's self proved racism is rife among the police. I also believe in a life for a life and think those murdering cowards should be hung. So can you please explain why you chose to post such a snide remark ? You see comrade wolfy, what happened there was you seemed to be suggesting that the scales of justice favour our chums from the ethnic minorities, and I made a pithy and thinly veiled reference to a historic event that is widely, although perhaps not universally, regarded as an example of exactly the opposite being the case. The latter bit was pretty much a direct quote from what one of my in laws said the other day, and was intended as a general dig at the tendency to give different value sets to those that we hold ourselves to folk that we perceive as the 'other', and for the sake of clarity wasn't aimed at anyone specifically and certainly not yourself, old boy. Regards Comrade Bellend
Guest MattP Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 lol I love my Russian commie buddies. We know.
Guest MattP Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 But they're racist whites, I'm so conflicted! How do you think I feel when I speak to all my Uncle Tom's.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 January 2012 Posted 6 January 2012 It’s not racist if you’re talking about the honkies, claims Abbott Shadow Health Minister Diane Abbott has defended her comments on Twitter, claiming that they have been blown out of all proportion before insisting that ’them crackers be crazy’. Abbott was accused over a Tweet in which she said, “All white people do that thing, yeah?” which caused outrage amongst all of the white people who don’t do that thing. The Labour front-bencher has defended her comments by asking people to look at the colour of her skin and the definition of a racist. “Look at me, I don’t look anything like John Terry. I can’t be racist.” “In fact, you thinking that I’m a racist is actually very racist you know,” she told reporters. Labour supporters have defended Abbott claiming that tweeting something monumentally stupid does not make you a racist. As one explained, “Look, all she did was make a flippant off-the-cuff remark about all people of a particular skin colour behaving in exactly the same way – if that’s racist then lock me up and throw away the key.” However many others have admitted that they’re not really sure what all the fuss is about. Gary Williams told us, “I’m a white person and I certainly don’t like playing Divide and Rule, if anything I’m more an Angry Birds person myself.” http://newsthump.com...-claims-abbott/ lol
Guest Bilo Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 http://blogs.indepen...e-abbott-story/ The guilty verdicts for Gary Dobson and David Norris, and the deliverance of justice after 18 years for Stephen Lawrence’s family, are infinitely more important than an ill-judged tweet. But nonetheless there is one last point – one that has received little attention despite the inevitable Twitter and media storm – that needs to be raised. Abbott is perhaps the most prominent black MP in Westminster; indeed, she was the first black woman to win a seat in Parliament. During her illustrious career she has carried out sterling work in the field of race-relations, and should be unequivocally congratulated for what she has achieved. Why, then, did Abbott and some others who have campaigned alongside her down the years yesterday seem to reject everything they had fought for and turn into the thing they despise above all else? Go back to the original tweet that commenced yesterday’s chaotic events. Bim Adewunmi, a London journalist, bemoaned the use of the phrase ‘black community’, arguing that it was far too simplistic and failed to recognise nuanced differences amongst individual black people. Abbott ultimately said that, no, the black community should stick together or fall into the trap of ‘divide and rule’. Then take into consideration the thoughts of another race-relations campaigner who took to the airwaves to defend Abbott: Lee Jasper. Just before he appeared on Sky News yesterday afternoon Jasper tweeted that ‘the good old boys are saddling up, there’s gonna be a hi-tech lynching because ‘sorry massa’ ain’t good enough – they want blood’. How, in one day, have they suddenly gone back in time by 40 years? On the first point Adewunmi was absolutely right and Abbott worryingly wrong. A society seeking to move on from the dark days of open racism should see all people as individuals and not as a collective based on the colour of their skin. Racism will never be truly gone unless Abbott can accept that black people should not be viewed as a single community, but rather as individuals in their own right. As for Jasper, well his comments were deplorable. He describes himself as a ‘progressive black nationalist’, and yet he calls for all-black schools and resorts to comments like that. Tell me, Jasper, how exactly is that ‘progressive’? It is nearly 50 years since Martin Luther King uttered those iconic words: ‘I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character’. By the content of their character. It is a great shame that, nearly half a century later, Abbott and Jasper still seem to fail to understand this simplest of noble statements. Alexander Wickham is clearly a KKK Grand Dragon by making such reasoned arguments. BURN HIM.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 This bitch is my pet hate. She is nothing but a dirty racist piece of scummy filth, who I would like to get my hands on. (with gloves of course), and slowly strangle. I would cut her into little pieces and feed her to the rats. That would make them ill, poor things, but hey-ho.

Houdini Logic Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Diane 'I'm so working class I send my kids to public school' Abbott. Give me a break
Yojoe36 Posted 9 January 2012 Posted 9 January 2012 Stupid cow. If I put on twitter "It's unfortunate the blacks no longer play the clean my shoe or be beaten role" I'd get done. not saying I would. I is for equal diverse stuff blad

somebum Posted 10 January 2012 Posted 10 January 2012 Well, when you begin to realize that the people who get in these positions in the political arena are simply s-elected and not e-lected, and they are chosen for how well they lie to the public, you understand why we have people like this vile woman in such positions. The whole political scene is a rigged sham and designed to wind you up.

Imagine how easy a job interview would be if you said ' I'm a mixed race homosexual handicaped dwarf with dyslexia '.

Do you honestly not see the difference between Anti White racism and Anti Black racism? Most anti black racism is about white supremacy, a feeling of superiority to our darker skinned brethren and comes from a position of power with the aim of pushing black people further down. Most anti white racism is about the still on going struggle for equality in this country and others, of course there are exceptions to both. I'm not a big fan of Diane Abbot, but I don't read too much into what anyone says on Twitter, it is difficult to express yourself fully with the limited characters you can use so things can be taken out of context. She talks of divide and conquer and references the colonial tactics of Britain and that they are still prevalent today. Maybe she was ill advised to say white people when she was referring to the ruling elite, but she is hardly beating up white women in the street. Like I said up there she is striving to get equality for Black and other ethnic groups in England by making these comments, not trying bring down white rule and create a black dominated UK.
Guest MattP Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 I'd say most anti-white racism now is directed at still trying pursue the myth that the whites are intending to keep black people down as long as possible. It's people like Diane Abbott that keep this divide and rule myth going by making comments like this. Sure there is a difference, but just because of that it doesn't make one more important than the other. Look at scumbags like Lee Jasper, he still claims to this day a black person can't be racist as you need power to be able to use this, in a day and age where a black man is the president of the the most powerful nation in the world.

I did say there were exceptions and there are black people who do think that all white people should be killed, and in places like Zimbabwe there were very clear cases of racism towards white people. But in the case of Diane Abbot you can hardly expect the "anti fascist brigade" to jump on it, when her comments were born out of a feeling of oppression, perceived or otherwise, hardly fascistic.
RobHawk Posted 12 January 2012 Posted 12 January 2012 For anyone who feels that in the western world black and white people are now treated as equal have a read of this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-16525977 Not talking about racism directly but interesting to read the view of major film companies when it comes to a film with an all black cast. I'm sure if they were all white there would be no problem and it highlights for me how uneven things still are! Reading things like this i can understand why some black people have a chip on their shoulder!
