deep blue Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Think he could be having an op tomorrow. What's the likelihood Bert; cruciate?
Guest ttfn Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Think he could be having an op tomorrow. A real shame. Let's hope he doesn't go the way of Weso.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Think he could be having an op tomorrow. What happened, have not heard anything?
dimmerchant Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 That's just cause you've read Fourth Official's tweet to him...
MikeyT Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Pearson said in his interview after the game that Schlupp has injured his left knee and that "it doesn't look good" also that there will be a scan on it tomorrow.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 That's just cause you've read Fourth Official's tweet to him... FiestyLAD.
leicesterisme Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 It's a scan tomorrow, he just said on Twitter.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 No expert but I thought a cruciate injury would cause a player real pain, there didnt look like much pain from Schlupp, and it wasnt obvious at first that he had to go off. Hope it isnt too bad whatever it is.
Bert Posted 7 January 2012 Author Posted 7 January 2012 Schlupp was crying. Just a scan then it is. Fair play to Wellens for walking down the tunnel with him.
MGLCFC Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Thought Vassell had a cruciate injury - if so he limped off at West Ham
Blanesta Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 I hope he's alright, I'd love this lad to have a brilliant career
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Schlupp was crying. Just a scan then it is. Fair play to Wellens for walking down the tunnel with him. Im keeping my fingers crossed he is okay
katieakita Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Schlupp was crying. Just a scan then it is. Fair play to Wellens for walking down the tunnel with him. For all his knockers fair play to Wellens,
Tielemans63 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Gutted for Big Jeff, hope the injury isn't too bad.
SaM 12 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 For all his knockers fair play to Wellens, didn't play that bad today aswell tbf
Corky Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Just as he was getting a run in the team, such a shame. Get better soon Jeff.
Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Best wishes to Schlupp, hope he recovers soon
StanSP Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 Schlupp was crying. Just a scan then it is. Fair play to Wellens for walking down the tunnel with him. Definitely. Huge praise for Wellens doing that. If it is a cruciate ligament on the knee then I have a feeling he'll be out for the season; I reckon that'd be worse case scenario. Best case is that the scan reveals it's not that major and it can be 6-8 weeks out which would give him time to get match-fit in time for the end of the season. Hope it's not too bad and get well soon Jeff!
bluearmy7 Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 this all sounds a bit to familiar dave buchanan, weso hope not i rate him could become a star
dannythefox Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 He best be back soon but probably wont get a chance now if we get sharp
Thracian Posted 7 January 2012 Posted 7 January 2012 So upsetting for the lad. Just as he gets some recognition and appreciation. Let's hope the op goes well, he makes a full recovery and shows the character to cope mentally and challenge for his place again. Tunchev might be able to offer some encouragement.
cc_star Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Anyone know if anything has happened re: his scan
