Walker Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 lol At Forest calling us cringey. Constantly singing about another club takes cringe to another level!
FootyBlogger Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 "They also do that 'just cant get enough' chant aswell" Did we? When did that happen? Was thinking that I think they was the ones singing it A small amount sang a Beckford chant to the 'Just Can't Get Enough' tune. That's all. Couldn't have been more than 20 people that actually joined in with it
Unabomber Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Having a go at our chants for being cringy while chanting racist chants
Libertine Dream Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 So thats original.... and not gay then unlike the poznan. The point is man city mocked it we tried to out do them in both ties and we picked it up whats wrong with trying to show up another set of fans with our support isn't that why we took half of forests ground today? and took the same ammount to manchester on a week day? Shouldn't we revel in the fact that in a plastic build your own generic stadium that we have still kept our identity in the form of WYS etc but also encorporating new celebrations like FIRE from kasabian a leicester band and the poznan. I personally think that our support is un matched in the midlands and thats something to cheer! Coventry are leagues ahead in being unmatched!
nffc1 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Cringeworthy. Went out of fashion months ago. Only fans that get away with it in England are Man City. Any others just look sad and idiotic. As for our lack of support. Just after Xmas. If a Leicester fan got a Forest FA Cup ticket for Xmas, their Xmas would've been complete. If a Forest fan had got one, they would've looked for the receipt. Shows the 2 contrasting attitudes towards each other I suppose. I only came on here to comment on the racism row, but you lot have drawn me in with comments criticising our support. You didn't say a word in the 1st half, and finally woke up in the 2nd, when your side had a few chances and applied some pressure. For 8,000 people, and being away from home, when your expected to make more noise, it was embarrassingly poor and to come out with comments such as "whole day was great and we should be proud as fans that we showed support like that today it reminded me of the filbo days. Maybe one day our kop will have that noise behind it one day", is quite sad.
Bert Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Too many people take the high moral ground, trying to say/do the right thing. Who gives a feck what other people think? It looked decent today, but personally it should be kept to goal celebrations. Agree with the Forest fan thinking our support was poor too. Said it halfway through the game.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Coventry are leagues ahead in being unmatched! They are certainly unmatched in the seat area they have loads spare
Guest Mee-9 Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 I've got better things to worry about than the Poznan. If you get upset by it, you live a pretty poor life and you need to take a look at yourself.

Seriously, mate, you quite simply can't go to the effort of reading our forum, signing up, then posting with the sole aim of slagging off our fans, yet still claim you don't care. Either fvck off, proving you don't care, or give it a fvcking rest. There's a Derby forum on the internet you probably care more about, pal.

You guys are sounding more like Cov every day. It sums your whole fanbase up that if you got a ticket to watch your team for free you still wouldn't bother. Sign of the times? Maybe. Sign of your pathetic attitue towards your club? Definitely. When you bring 8,000 to our ground and when you have more than 50 people trying to sing a song, come back. So, don't come back.
Finchy Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 The way the Forest fans stumbled through Mull of Kintyre was the most embarrassing thing today, not the Poznan. Or maybe Lloyd Dyer's miss.

Hard to get a decent atmosphere going when you get nothing back from the opposition, no matter how many fans we brought. Out-selling the away support by 2,000, we're embarrassed for you!
Dan Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 No Forest fan has got a single word to say on our support that means anything, they had 2k more than us at their own ground, they had next to nothing other than racist songs, anti-Leicester/Derby songs (which they don't care about us remember) and clapping anything we sang. To think I actually rated their home support once. Wow, I thought I'd never been stoned. Fvcking embarrassing beyond belief. Lets see how many of the laughable little scruffs play the don't care card when they bring a beyond piss poor, joke number to us.

All you could sing at us was racist songs whilst we were at it all through the game. I'm sure one you lot will be on here giving it the old "we don't care about you" line, ignoring the fact you were trying to bait us all game. Just shows that you lot are getting more & more amateur in your support. Though i'm sure tin pot teams in league 1 might be impressed.

Milton Keynes Fox Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Just tweeted that youtube video to notts police, i'm fed up of racism being used in this country and futhermore fed up of it being used by them.

Aren't you there to watch Nottm Forest and not Leicester? Plastic fans more than any if that's the case. Your love affair with Derby is sickening. You chant about Derby more than your own team. And as for your support, racist, provocative chants were the best you brought out from the 300 or so that were actually singing in the main stand. Grow up.
James. Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 For 8,000 fans I thought the support was a bit underwhelming to be honest, can remember better atmospheres with a quarter of that number. Although after a first half performance like we saw it's not really a surprise. Forest were shit though so have absolutely no idea how they can have a go with a straight face.
Alexikokopops Posted 8 January 2012 Posted 8 January 2012 Whilst we're on the subject of atmosphere and originality - and please don't think I'm suggesting this is the height of creativity and all - but is there another club that gives it the old "twat, you're shit aaah?" I honestly don't remember seeing it elsewhere though maybe I'm just not well enough travelled. More a curiosity than a bid for actual bragging rights here. Lincoln City do it. I had a season ticket there for a few seasons (£50, bargain) and every home game, every opposition goal kick, they'd be at it. I went a couple of seasons ago (the day before the Stoke game actually) and they were still at it.

I went because my team were playing there, not because of any great desire to see a ground that I've been to several times before and rows of empty seats and home fans ironically clapping all game and giving a hero's welcome to Marlon Harewood. As I said after the draw was made, I wanted a different draw, preferably against a big club with a decent support. But we got Forest and had to get on with it.

All this, " We don`t care about you" stuff.Who cares, not me, I f***ing hate you, and all the rest of you Florest tossers, with a venom! I`ve had the misfortune over the years, when i worked in the building trade, of having to work with people from Snottingham, including working in your godforsaken dump of a city, at Trent Bridge, when they built the new stand, and let me tell you now, that i have yet to meet, anyone from Snottingham, that is not an arrogant tosser, and so far up there own arse it`s untrue. You and the rest of the tossers from Florist can go on with your little love in with the sheepshaggers, makes no difference to me, you will always be despised by me!
