Jimmy Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Do we have any strikers left? Howard, Hopper maybe Waghorn is fit enough to be sub
Callabinho Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 I didn't see it, but the definition of a dangerous tackle is one that endangers the opposition player, now if it was a tackle from behind and he injured a player to the point of not being able to carry on even for nusiance value then surely it is a red. We will see. A chop from behind to holt his progression. And it injured him. pretty much ticks all the boxes.
Brooksy Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Refereeing costs us for about the 50th time this season. All about next season now
ScouseFox Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 We have Howard.. Oh god Howard, Hopper maybe Waghorn is fit enough to be sub Great. Play offs here we come!
J.Lisemore Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 If we we're a music band, our album would be called Inconsistent. Its beyond a joke at the moment, can we win 2 games in a row? can we ****.
Jimmy Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Whats happened to Fonze? got hacked down from behind
steveherbe Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 got hacked down from behind So? Was he sent off, is he injured? C'mon guys, tell us what happened?

Thracian Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Whatever the rights or wrongs of the refereeing decisions where has our composure gone? And where's our commitment to winning? We need points yet, instead of starting with our two wingers and going for the game we tried to contain them first and then think about winning. When, when, when are we going to go all out for victory from the start? We never seem to make our own luck and I wonder where our discipline has disappeared to in getting two players sent off. There are still lots of 17 matches and 51 points to play for but we have to stop playing cagey and start playing with the tempo necessary to win the games. And do so with the quickest and most dangerous players we have. It didn't sound as if we closed Brighton down quickly and high up the field in the first half. We sought to contain them. That's arguably too negative for what we're trying to achieve anyway but we're considered a wealthy club by opponents and referees alike and both seem determined to do all they can to hinder our progress. So let's try to put success in our own hands and attack from the start. I don't mean we should be reckless either. But we should press high and fast. And we should get our full-backs properly involved in sustaining attacks. Anything else and we've no chance of the victories necessary.
steveherbe Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 went off injured Cheers Jimmy, taken 20 minutes to find that out!
Captain... Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Any news on the Red card, I switched the radio off to watch the rugby and try and put the last 2 hours behind me.
Legend_in_blue Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 The referee's have done us. I said in an earlier post this week in reaction to the mid-week game, I now expect a refereeing decision to have a major effect on the outcome of each and every game we play. Today is another prime example of that. There have been far too many of these this season for it to be purely put down to the "swings and roundabouts" of refereeing decisions played out over the course of a season.
bluearmy7 Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 if i join the EDL will i be allowed to run on the pitch and smash the fvcking refs head in
nothin2seehere Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 And yet how many football fans still don't want fourth officials watching TV replays to make key decisions because it will ruin the so-called flow of the so-called "beautiful game".

Forest and Hull also good examples. Have we actually had a decision go our way this season?
Sods Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 On way back, god knows why beckford was sent off, another awful ref.
oadby_fox723 Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 went off injured Did he need to be stretchered off?
Phube Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Can't wait to hear from Nige... supposedly Him and Andrew Neville have gone in to sort out the ref...
yorkie1999 Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 This is a conspiracy against Leicester. Simple. The FA have never forgiven us when we went into admin. still 51 points to try and play for
Leicfox Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 I'm sure it was 10 v 10 when Brighton scored, We could of got a point and a point is better than nothing or was their goal scored illegally and the fault of the officials? I understand the anger about inconsistent officials but we can't blame them every week.
old koppite Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 waiting for someone to post who was at the game

There have been far too many of these this season for it to be purely put down to the "swings and roundabouts" of refereeing decisions played out over the course of a season. It could be that we are a bunch of moaning mouthy players that get the referee's and official's backs up. Howard has been sent off for dissent, against Boro nugent had his hands all over the ref and we had 3 booked for dissent and NP told the ref to fvck off, Wellens is constantly moaning and I am seeing it from Mills and Beckford too. I am not saying that this is the case, but there is not any great conspiracy. But it could be we are the team equivalent of Joey Barton, we don't get the benefit of the doubt because we have developed a reputation as moaning prima donnas, this may be a knock on from our reputation as being a money bags club. Or maybe they look at our disciplinary record and expect us to be a dirty team, I don't know. All of these external factors must influence refs and maybe we have a reputation amongst refs.
NewburyFox Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 Nigel doesn't half make it difficult for Ian at times.
old koppite Posted 4 February 2012 Posted 4 February 2012 could be - you've got a point - just thinking of another great day for mon, don't remember his teams moaning much- just work hard and get on with it
