And I wonder whether the Thai's might start to look elsewhere, especially with the lure of Neil Warnock being out of work. I'm not saying this is what I want but I can't see the Thai's seeing the season out in this fashion, the whole campaign has been an absolute farce.

I for one hope they don't get trigger happy. I'd like to see Pearson get a full pre-season and see how we start the next campaign in the championship, barring no miracles that is.

If they sack Pearson I think I'll struggle to follow the club whilst they're in charge. I'm not gonna make a bold claim like "I'll stop supporting Leicester until they leave" because obviously if they somehow pull a promotion campaign out the bag I'm not gonna turn a blind eye to it to make a point, but it'd make me pretty pissed off.

It is a worry. I hope they learnt a valuable & expensive lesson after Sven. I hope they see the sense in giving Nige a fair crack of the whip

I was one of the few who would have taken Warnock when Milan spoke to him a few years back, I'd have also taken him when Sven left, but now, not so sure, don't see he's a huge improvement on NP.

Maybe it's time to stick with the bloke for a while, afterall he won L1 and then made the play-offs, if he hadn't fell out with Milan/Hoos the only way he would have been allowed to leave was if a top flight club had come in for him. So lets give him time to correct Svens errors and some of his own, I expect next season with NP in charge we will go back to being hard to beat and Nuge and Beckford should be able to score more than Fryatt and Howard so just the centre of the park to fix, hopefully next season we can see the best of Andy King and Drinkwater and Marshall can play a big part out wide, so just a bit of a dilemma down the left wing and maybe RB however Marshall may work a bit harder than Gally, so Peltier may feel a bit more comfortable with that.

lol

Appoint a manager known for his team-building qualities as opposed to insta-buy ready made success that they originally tried & failed at, constantly talk about no pressure this season they just want to be there in the next few years.

*facepalm*

Sheeesh... I know things are not quite going to plan for us right now... but Pearson needs to be given a decent chance to make things happen here... he's come in mid season and since his arrival we've seen a change in the spirit of the players (for most part).. if we don't make the play off this season I seriously hope they don't consider bringing in another manager.. Pearson deserves the chance to build his squad for the following year... Personally I don't think we're ready for the Premier League, give us a Full Season under NP for him to build his squad and get his team playing the way he wants.. Promotion this season for us could be a disaster... Premier League Cannon Fodder most likely with the way we are currently playing... we need a full season with NP players to then move on up...

I think this is simple....

The Thais like Pearson.

They paid another fortune to get him.

However, first and foremost they are businessmen who will not accept mediocrity.

Taking this in mind, I think Nige will get money to spend over the summer, AND probably ten games to be in the top six...

If we aren't there come October time, he's out...

IMO.

If they still believe chopping and changing is the best way to go about things then they're ****ing idiots and you don't build a successful business empire by being a ****ing idiot.

So no, they won't get rid of Pearson and I don't really know why this thread exists

changing managers every time we go in a slump isnt gonna help. We'll be going thru least 5 a season if so :P

NP needs to be backed by us...not called for his head everytime we go in a slump. its not like a 9 or 10 games losing run we're going thru here.

A stable clubs in terms of management well benefit everyone in the long run.

Seriously Ric... you think this is the words of a man who thinks Pearson is close to getting chopped?

Exactly.. the owners are going to give NP the time he needs and derserves to be given... it's all about the future, not just the 'Now'

ok ok, so every fan/supporter would like immediate results but in realitly that just isn't always possible... Keep the Faith, we have time on our side...

I don't believe a word any chairmen or Chief Exec ever says in football, they talk utter guff. I am more concerned with the fans turning on Pearson and them acting, which I can see happen in the next 3-6 games as the last few glimmers of hope evaporate.

If I was them I would sell up and go home. But I would love Warnock here when his teams dont play well they bully the opposition for the points something we never do.

We all fear the Thai's potential triggerhappiness, but, given the lenghth of time the negotiations over filling the manager's job took, I would imagine that Pearson sought commitment that they will give him a decent length of time to make a difference and will have done some work towards setting their expectations straight. I HOPE so anyway.

Seriously it was one loss 1! it's like we were on an unbeaten season run top of the league. We're MID TABLE! don't you know what that means? we win some we lose some FFS all these threads "THE THAIS ARE GOING" " WELLENS IS AN IDIOT" DRINKWATER IS A T***" "DANNS CAN'T KICK A BALL" Bloody take a look at yourself before posting such nonsense seriously it's like we are world beaters and have suddenly been beaten all this over reaction is a utter joke

He's got a poorer return in points than we had under Sven

We're further from the play-offs than under Sven

The football isn't as enetertaining

He continues to play Danns and Gallagher

He leaves Marshall and Delfonso on the bench (at best)

He continues to pick Howard and actually plays the useless lump.

Hull have improved since he left, with a manger with no experience.

Looking at his career in this division I see no reason, at the moment, as to why he should be given the rest of this season, let alone more money and the start of next season.

Our league record is attrocious and reads something like Gallaghers run of form, great for 1 game, alright for the next, shite for the next 2 (Gallagher is normally dropped for game 4) and then it all starts again.

I have to agree with all of that and I was massively supportive of Pearson's return but also gutted Sven was binned. Just a waste.

Actually position wise we are closer. Sven left us in 13th and Svens PPG ratio would currently have us one place and about two points better off.

Remind me what football was exciting this season under Sven?

He continues to play Danns and Gallagher

He leaves Marshall and Delfonso on the bench (at best)

So you would drop who upfront for Delfonso, and what has he done EVER to warrant being in front of the other two? Marshall has been here for FOUR games. You think we were going to change the team for Watford after two decent performances against Boro and Cardiff?

He continues to pick Howard and actually plays the useless lump.

Howard didn't make the bench for Cardiff, how do you know Delfonso wasn't injured? We have no other options at the moment.

Hull have improved since he left, with a manger with no experience.

Really... their current ppg ratio over the last 8 games is exactly the same as ours.

Looking at his career in this division I see no reason, at the moment, as to why he should be given the rest of this season, let alone more money and the start of next season.

You see no reason? Completely ignoring he started slowly at Hull until he got his message across and got his own men in. And get them above Sven and his expensive stars.

You have more patience than me - I was going to break it down like you have but just post ' lol' under each one...
