Maybe he was waiting to make sure he wasn't given offside Maybe they edited that in from another part of the game? Maybe he thought it was an advert for some other game?

I've said from the start I wasn't convinced by him; from what I've seen, he's our fourth best centre back. The question for me is whether Morgan or St. Ledger should partner Bamba (although I'm disappointed it took him so long to get back from the African Nations). I'm not sure Bamba can walk straight back in now. St Ledger has had a good run in the side and earnt his place the last few games. Morgan has impressed so far as well. I'd stick with them two for now.

I thought it had descended into a "Pearson is shit.....no he isn't" argument instead of a Matt Mills discussion. To be honest I agree with you entirely about DT's Pearson posts - they are mainly bollocks.

These quotes are probably answers to Ian Stringer asking something like the following:1) (to NP) - "I see you left Matt Mills out today, does that mean that nobody has a right to play on reputation?" 2) (to Danns) - "Wellens was given the armband today, what is he like as a captain?"

Well it's not necessarily the same people making these statements so I don't agree with your view on fans changing their minds, yes a few have but there's been a lot of consistency by many. I've certainly not changed my view, it may have fluctuated slightly but that's about it.

Take Torres for instance? I wonder whether the Chelsea fans love him as much as the Scousers did? Some things remain consistent but players change and attitudes change. What does happen on here is that we can have one win and be worldbeaters and then lose next week and be relegation fodder.. Which is ridiculous. Some of the opinions also will reflect frustration that we should be doing better and questions are asked of why we aren't. Such is a football forum...it's a good job that opinions differ and change over time cos it would be completely boring if it didn't.
