Earlier in the season Mills & Bamba could do no wrong Sven was the man & St Ledger was crap according to most on here. Then it was Tunchev, to save our defence along with Bamba, Mills was now average & St Ledger was still crap but so was Sven now too the fans agreed. Our Saviour then came back home good ol Nige he will sort it, well we all knew that Sven was rubbish but so was Bamba, Mills and Tunchev now & of course St Ledger was still crap despite good performances for Ireland. Move forward a few months Nige is no better that the Swedish womaniser, Bamba is a liability, we don't want Morgan, Mills is improving & would you believe it Trapattoni was right after all St Ledger is very good! So what's next Mills is now the one the fans are having a pop at, get rid is the cry, why did Nige drop him at Norwich? Why isn't he in the squad tomorrow? What's going on? What a strange world it is in football where a fans opinions of players seem to go up & down more times than a brides nightie on her honeymoon. No more excuses lets just get behind who is ever in the team and push them on up the table. Think I've cracked your hidden code

One thing you will notice is that individual poster's opinions rarely change, it is just the haters are more vocal when there is something to hate, and the lovers are more vocal when there is something to praise. Not rocket science buddy, if you stick around a bit longer you will notice that. As for Mills, looks like he has got on Nigel's bad side, and there is usually no coming back from that. NP won't tolerate a bad attitude.

A spell out of the team makes a player's reputation soar, always has done & always will do, if Morgan or SSL slip up then all of a sudden Mills will be the best thing since sliced bread. ----------------------------------- Aside to that there is a real problem in that Mills & Bamba were reasonably settled, but SSL seemed to have been promised a position in the team ahead of the Euros, threw his toys out the pram was promptly transfer listed by NP, who gave Mills a massive public backing in saying that "Mills will start, Mills is my captain". Mills hasn't really repaid NP's faith in him as the indifferent performances continued and it's obvious to everyone that despite NP's attempts to back him he's a millions miles away from being captain material. The very fact that no two people in a row can agree on Matt Mills says to me he's fallen short. The way Morgan ran the show at the back showed just what we've missed since Brown left, we have had false dawn before though & I'm sure Morgan will make a mistake, but he is commanding & he can dominate opposing players, something we haven't been able to do all season. Anyway, like you say... We should get behind whoever is in the team be it Morgan, Mills or whoever

If Mills really is on 40k a week Bert then Sven needs to be thrown down a well somewhere and left for two years to contemplate the error of his ways. Unless I'm very wrong I believe that Hobbs was on something like 5k a week?

I doubt the players even know who will be starting yet But the match day squad will be known, and Mills isn't in that, and if you're not in the squad, then you're not going to be in the team.
