LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Was there last goal against us in 2007?
HEGGSY Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Was there last goal against us in 2007? 2009 if were counting own goals.
carlhltid Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Now the question is would you drop Wellens or Danns for Drinkwater, I certainly think the lad should start as he was coming good before he picked up that knock but it is nice to have some competition for places. gota be the same team was good at norwich only change ide make is sol for wes
HEGGSY Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 gota be the same team was good at norwich only change ide make is sol for wes Really?
Kitchandro Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 2009 if were counting own goals. 2010 that was. That was a shocker. We've destroyed them in every game since.
HEGGSY Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 2010 that was. That was a shocker. We've destroyed them in every game since. Ah yes, thought it was 09. We were dogshite that day ...Fvcking Weale.
Rich Fox Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 I am going in the Derby end with my mate who is Derby season ticket holder, free ticket, free lift and afternoon off work to get well oiled before getting to Derby. Been assured it wont be a problem as the seat is next to the Leicester Subs. Will have to keep quiet but up for a bit of a sing in the pub first. Think we should go with same side as at Norwick with Drinkwater on the bench.
marbelladave Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 I think it's time to stand up and be counted. If, as many on here suggest, we have a squad that is good enough to mount a 'final push' for the play offs, it's now time to do it. We have nearly a fully fit squad to pick from. Derby are clearly out of sorts. We go to them on the back of a fantastic victory against a Prem League team. Finally, we have fantastic support........ Look at West Ham last night. They turned over an in- form Blackpool team, on their home patch and won at a canter. If we are to realistically have any final hope of league success this season we need a similar performance tomorrow night. No more excuses of players being unhappy, needing time to gel and all that old pony... Instead we need to start the run... Tomorrow is going to be nasty...... Some of our 'big time time charlies' are not going to be up for it and we are going to struggle to get a result. As you can see I am still somewhat unimpressed by the performance of our team, we played well against Norwich but we have seen that before, performances against Brighton, Southhampton and others were just as strong but at no point did our season look like really taking off. Sadly I see more of the same tomorrow, good luck to all those going, I hope we play well and I am being hopelessly pessimistic. Feel free to roundly abuse me should we do well........
Kitchandro Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Ah yes, thought it was 09. We were dogshite that day ...Fvcking Weale. I was well up for it that day as well. We were doing OK up until the goal....horrible from then on in.
davieG Posted 22 February 2012 Posted 22 February 2012 Last chance saloon and Mills not even in the 16 man squad according to this: http://www.mirrorfoo...icle869034.html Defiant David Nugent has flashed an SOS to tell his fellow Foxes: It’s time to save our season. Leicester will arrive at Pride Park on Thursday night 11 points shy of the play-offs. But Nugent insists promotion is not beyond the grasp of Nigel Pearson’s side, fresh from their stunning FA Cup victory at Norwich. He said: “This game is live on TV and we have a chance to show the world we are a good side, and that we want to get into the play-offs. “We want to show the rest of the Championship we are not lying down yet – but we seem to get sloppy against the teams below us in the league. “We have to put it right because it will cost us a play-off place if we don’t start picking up results quickly.” Derby keeper Frankie Fielding has demanded a response to Saturday’s 4-0 defeat at Southampton. He said: “We shouldn’t beat ourselves up because the lads have been superb at times. "But we do need to go out and produce a performance.” * MATT MILLS is facing an uncertain future at Leicester after being frozen out by Nigel Pearson. Defender Mills could be a shock casualty this summer less than 12 months after his £5m move from Reading. The 25-year-old, who was named captain by former boss Sven Goran Eriksson, is not even in the 16-man squad for Thursday's game against Derby. And Pearson could cash in on the centre-half after bringing in Wes Morgan from Nottingham Forest last month.
foxfanazer Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Would start with same 11 that plate Norwich, hopefully drinkwater is fit enough to start in the bench. Got a feeling we will draw tonight 2-2 nugent and danns
RumbleFox Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Biggest game of the season for me! COME ON YOU FOXES! I'm a pretty laid back kind of a guy usually. You know the sort, intelligent, sensitive, achingly handsome. I don't get wound up about too many things but betcha by golly wow I hate Derby County.! Cannot wait for tonight. We can do this. WE CAN DO THIS. WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!
BrummieFOX Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 ^^^Could watch that forever. Now where was that tosser saying Guppy 'wasn't that good'. Just look at the first cross with his weaker foot, on the half volley and inch perfect!!
Happy Fox Posted 23 February 2012 Author Posted 23 February 2012 Those sheepshaggers get very nervous when we play them, lets score first and unsettle the b**tards. My prediction 4-0 Win Beckford *3 and Morgan

Your pessimism is completely justified on the back of what has been a woeful season in terms of consistency, I don't ever expect this team to win, I just celebrate when they do. I know we can beat this Derby side, but whether we do or not will be a different matter, in 3 games time if we have picked up 9 points against 3 beatable teams then maybe the corner has been turned, but it will still be too late for this season.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 I'll be there tonight in the away end with my daughter - she's been to home games with me in the press box but this will be the first time we've sat together in amongst the fans and her first ever away game. She's 15 and my football brainwashing has worked
steveherbe Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 OMG, just watched the vid above, Silence of the Rams. That's when we were good. Those crosses from Gupps, two big lads up front, proper footy. COYB!!

Saxondale Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Check out the Derby fans' optimism! http://www.dcfcfans....leicester-city/ Proper fans. Particularly like this one: Optimistic: DCFC - Leicester 0:3 (Nugent)Realistic: DCFC - Leicester 0:5 (Nugent)
Out Foxed Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 0-6 to the foxes. Not sure about the 2nd half though! 0-5 5 own goals 0-7
Ashley Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 Odds on Leicester to be 4-0 in 17 minutes? Anyone?
stix Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 I hope they all put money on Kingy to score first as some have suggested. A home loss & money lost on betting against your own team...great night out!
EnderbyFox Posted 23 February 2012 Posted 23 February 2012 I hope all their players are as optimistic as their fans.
