leicesterisme Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 How much money do you need to sort out the defense it is a f**king shambles, Konchesky is reliable, Pelts and Morgan are showing their true colors. St Ledger is good. So what is the problem Sven or NP or both of them as far as the defense is concerned? Pelts was signed as a back up to Pantsil, Mills has been frozen out I personally would bring him in we cannot be that bad surely with his addition. How on earth would you know that?
Guest shearfox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Depressing result. We did the hard work, got into a great position to win the game, then shot ourselves in the foot in typical Leicester fashion. Bugger. The only positive is that we didn't lose 3-2 AGAIN. If the defense can keep it stable at conceeding 3 per away game, if Beckford and Nugent improve a little more, we might win an away game 3-4. More likely than a clean sheet at the minute Your logic is sound.
Webbo Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 here we go...nigel states the bleeding obvious..nothing will change.. You'd prefer him to make something up?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Pearson points out the obvious week after week. If he actually WANTS to do something, drop his favourites even when they're not injured! Slowly giving up
Bert Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Gonna pretty much repeat what I've said on Twitter. I'd have been happy with a point tonight and if we win on Saturday 4 points from two tough games for me, will be a good return.
Happy Fox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 How on earth would you know that? I thought it was common knowledge?, Sven signed Pantsil as first choice RB if I am not mistaken.
EnderbyFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Jesus christ, this guy is having a breakdown on the Radio.
Bert Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 How on earth would you know that? Especially considering Pelts was signed before JP.
Petchy Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Pearson points out the obvious week after week. If he actually WANTS to do something, drop his favourites even when they're not injured! Slowly giving up And replace with who though? Our squad is pretty thin at the moment.
Master Fox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 'We'll get it right' Hmmm....come on Nigel. Please change the record. I really I hope you do.
lifted*fox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 haha, angry man on the radio. can barely string a sentence together - "get rid of Pearson, Warnock BLA BLA BLA" urm, is that the same Warnock in charge of Leeds who got a pasting at home from Nottingham last night? haha, honestly, some of these callers...
accessory Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 What about if every team added the points they've dropped from winning positions as well, where would we be then? Still its a shocking stat and explains a lot of the inconsisteny. 15 of those 17 points have been in games under Pearson Only 7 of the 17 have been in games where Mills has played (Forest & Watford away, Middlesbrough at home)
cc_star Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Not sure why people are crying for Mills to come back... His blood is on the floor thanks to the Watford shambles Doesn't seem to matter who the personnel are, the goals just go in... the only time we've not let goals in the system on a consistent basis is when the whole team defended and we couldn't score to save our life, we're not good enough to do both. People still laughably clinging to the play-offs despite it being unrealistic after the referring shambles at Brighton are the ones who are the hardest hit by our results. It's getting sad now! Yes, it would be nice but FFS it's not happening, there are some bad eggs we need to get rid of & we need to strengthen in a couple of positions as well as the younger new signings growing into their roles.
Fmfox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 why would we sack pearson?! You cant sack a manager when they havent had a preseason with their squad, it would be madness to sack him! With a solid defence we will be great next season!
EnderbyFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 I'm not gonna write a letter to Camelot complaining. Haha, that guy was a legend.
cc_star Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Gonna pretty much repeat what I've said on Twitter. I'd have been happy with a point tonight and if we win on Saturday 4 points from two tough games for me, will be a good return. Bang on! It's hardly like we've got a right to win away games to teams better than us, although most people on here think we will win every single game and then start crying when we don't
nuttytimmy Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 The season in microcosm. It's the same story over and over again. Conclusions from Bloomfield Road.
RonnieTodger Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 How do some of these ****ing morons know how to dial consecutive numbers? They are absolutely embarrassing. Yes, I'm pissed off but I don't suddenly lose all sense of what's right. That second last bloke was just an embarrassment to mankind. Also, "we could have got Warnock"? You mean the same Warnock that had his side concede 7 at home to a relegation candidate last night? Post-Match thoughts: People with an IQ lower than 5 shouldn't be allowed to use a phone Same old Leicester Same old Blackpool Same old Kevin Phillips Richie Wellens sounds like Ashley off Coronation Street
orangecity23 Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Not an excuse, but with the nature of the fixture list this month, Pearson and the coaches haven't had a huge amount of training ground time with the players this month. I suppose it gives them limited scope to sort things out. I'd imagine the players get a day off after a match to recover, then maybe only 1 days training before a match. Bloody frustrating though.
accessory Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Bang on! It's hardly like we've got a right to win away games to teams better than us, although most people on here think we will win every single game and then start crying when we don't It really isn't. We needed a win to close the gap on Blackpool. It remains at 8 points and games are running out.
Corky Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Bang on! It's hardly like we've got a right to win away games to teams better than us, although most people on here think we will win every single game and then start crying when we don't I've said it before, but we have to win these games, because our shocking record against teams near the bottom has held us back so far that beating the better teams is the only hope of doing anything. The team have done this. If we'd got more points from the winnable games we wouldn't have so much pressure on this type of match.
