EnderbyFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 How do some of these ****ing morons know how to dial consecutive numbers? They are absolutely embarrassing. Yes, I'm pissed off but I don't suddenly lose all sense of what's right. That second last bloke was just an embarrassment to mankind. Post-Match thoughts: People with an IQ lower than 5 shouldn't be allowed to use a phone Same old Leicester Same old Blackpool Same old Kevin Phillips Richie Wellens sounds like Ashley off Coronation Street Just made my night. lol
THEFATBASTARD Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 You'd prefer him to make something up? You'd prefer him to make something up? yip, a decent defence, he has had enough time, don't you agree?
Happy Fox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 What are the problems we have because every single week it changes, our strike force is good enough to get promotion, defense and midfield is lightweight we have the individuals but collectively as a unit they don't gel for whatever reason. Is it a mentality thing?, management problem, is NP the problem? These are the players I would deem good enough for promotion. Kasper - good enough Konchesky - good enough Nugent- good enough Beckford- good enough Drinkwater - good enough Marshall- potentially good enough The rest have question marks?
WardyisPukka Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 yip, a decent defence, he has had enough time, don't you agree? no not really! so piss off !! name one manager who could do better !! dont even bother saying BILLY DAVIES !! THAT SCOTTISH TWAT!!
Mark_w Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 at this guy on the radio. Hes going mad! Apparently Nigel's spoilt this season, it was obviously going so ****ing well until we reapointed Nige! Hull fans where calling for Pearson's head when we played them last year and we laughed at them, he turned it around there and had them in the play-offs when he decided to leave for mid-table Hull, like I'm pretty sure most of us felt he would. He left a side he could almost certainly have gotten into the top six to move to this dump! Why cant we be happy to have a manager who, wants to work here and get it right and has had success at this club in this division before? No point letting him construct his own squad like he did here a few years ago, or at Hull last year, lets sack him, bring in an Ex-England manager and break club transfer records on any players who tell us they're good. Dellusions of ****ing grandeur, why on earth everyone has a problem with our best manager since Martin O'Neill is beyond me, the majority of our fan base either has very short memories or just ****ing love moaning.
Guest ttfn Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 I would be extremely surprised to learn that we concede more (decisive) late goals than anyone else. The only games I can remember it happening in are Forest, Hull and tonight. It's part of football; live with it.
blueharmie Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Kasper. Danns and Nugent. The rest are just no good. Sick of being in this shitty division for years on end. Even a glimour of hope would be nice.

Add St Ledger and id agree
Simmo86 Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Just seen the goals! WTF was Kasper doing for the 1st & 2nd!
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Appalling goals to conced. Defence needs sorting for next season

Your definition of "success" is different to mine. Pearson didn't achieve promotion in this division, so he hasn't even matched Micky Adams, let alone MON.
iamafox Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 I really hoped that tonight was the night where we had turned the corner. But it is a well known fact that conceding late goals away from home, especially in must-win games has been our achilles heel in recent years. But why is that? It really bothers me!
Guest ttfn Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 on a side note Beckford scored away TWICE Good for him. It almost makes up for the previous 15 away league games he failed to score in. On a less dick-ish point, he is not only scoring, but against our "play-off rivals" (don't laugh!) - that's 5 in 5 against Brum, Blackpool, Cardiff, Reading and Boro over the last month. Bodes well. Still have the same reservations as before, and I still think Pearson will sell him in the summer.
Mav Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Is it me or is Wes Morgan a Forest spy sent to **** us up? Hate to be honest but we only have two defenders who match our ambitions and thats St ledger and Konch.
martyn Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Just seen the goals! WTF was Kasper doing for the 1st & 2nd! Just watched again. Can't blame him for the 1st, would rather blame Konchesky for allowing Phillips an unchallenged header. 2nd goal was clowning around on so many levels, firstly allowing a 3 on 2 situation, then allowing a guy with the turning circle of a tanker to cut inside under no pressure before Kasper inexplicably charges out leaving half his goal open. We're conceding some terrible goals.

Well he is a fool if he does, the guy wants to gets sacked, we would be daft to let Beckford go but knowing our luck he probably will.
Leicesterpool Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Kasper will be gone in the summer anyhow, Spurs will be looking for a new goalie when Fridel retires at the end of the season. Joe Lewis from Peterborough wouldn't be a bad signing.
Mark_w Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Your definition of "success" is different to mine. Pearson didn't achieve promotion in this division, so he hasn't even matched Micky Adams, let alone MON. I said since MON. We've seen with sides like Forest and Leeds that it can be incredibly difficult to get out of League One and we ran away with it, and the performance in that second leg was good, if it hadn't been for Kermorgant, or that linesman we could be a Premier League club by now easily. Micky Adams did do a good job, but he had a much better squad to work with, even with no money at all, I'd say it's close between the two of them. But if you don't think 5th place with a side that looked like this, Weale, Morrison, Brown, Hobbs, Berner, Gallagher, Wellens, King, Dyer, Howard, Fryatt is success then fair enough, I'm not saying he got everything right but he got a damn site more right than most other managers in my lifetime (MON onwards), and he's done similar at Hull.
RonnieTodger Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 If Pantsil isn't still locked away in the Chamber of Secrets, we should give him a go. Apart from Lallana putting him on his arse, he didn't do much wrong
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 March 2012 Posted 21 March 2012 Look on the bright side people... At least Wellens was substituted. (Eventually)
