Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 After the debacle of Peterborough what will big Nige do to mix it up? Will Beckford start after the 'incident?' I think he will abandon this 4-2-3-1 system from the previous 2 games as we have scored a grand total of 0 goals, so maybe back to an old fashioned 4-4-2 Kasper Peltier St Ledger Morgan Konchesky Marshall Bamba Wellens Dyer Nugent Schlupp Subs: Kennedy, King, Drinkwater, Beckford, Howard 3-1 to us with 2 for Jeff and one for big Wes.

carlhltid Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 gonna be away for this bet its a cracker i reckon 3 nil city
dhermon Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Kasper Peltier Bamba Morgan Konchesky Marshall Drinkwater Wellens Dyer Nugent Howard Subs: Kennedy, King, Beckford, St Ledger, Schlupp IMO ..... Howard will start for 60-65 mins to basically crash bash and shin the shit out of them for Schlupp to come on and attack a tired sore and bloodied defence Beckford might not even make the bench if things are as bad as Stringer made out on radio in which case insert U18s player
MarkHowieLCFC Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Now all we've got to play for is as high a position as possible think we'll go out with no fear and win comfortably...no billy sharp for them is a bonus too...
Trouble Decker Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 This game is the first of our "must win every game this season to reach the play offs" Mr Pearson says, expect a loss
TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Kasper Moore St Ledger Morgan Konchesky Marshall King Drinkwater Dyer Schlupp Nugent PLEASE CAN WE SEE THIS
Babylon Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 King Drinkwater Christ I think I could out muscle those two in the middle on my own. Last Saturday home game of the season, cheers Sky you arse wipes.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Kasper Moore Morgan Bamba Konchesky Marshall King DD Dyer Schlupp Nugent Like to see a few other players given a chance, e.g. Moore
Frank_mckenzie Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 I would like to see Kasper Konchesky St ledger Morgan Pantsil Danns Wellens Dyer King Marshall Nugent
Raw Dykes Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 I would like to see Kasper Konchesky St ledger Morgan Pantsil Danns Wellens Dyer King Marshall Nugent Danns is suspended, unfortunately, and I'm not sure about King in the hole, or whether he's fit enough to start. I'd go for this, but with Drinkwater or Bamba in for the suspended Danns, Marshall as AMC, and Schlupp out wide instead of Marshall. Oh, and don't expect to see Pantsil play. I don't think he's even been on the bench for a long time. Liam Moore could be involved, though.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Kasper Peltier - Morgan - St. Ledger - Konchesky Marshall - Bamba - Wellens © - Dyer Nugent - Schlupp Subs: Kennedy, King, Drinkwater, Howard, Hopper I would like to see Pantsil instead of Peltier but I know that won't happen. Score Prediction: 3-1
whitlock Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 We'll play well, probably win, hopes will get up, think playoffs is a possibility, lose our next game, playoffs over. Repeat.
Captain... Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Some crazy ideas for the line-up, we need to get back to 442, it is no good having a plan B if you are still not sure on plan A, NP needs to decide on who is going to be the core of his team for next season and get them playing together, with 30 minutes from fringe players to prove their worth. GK: Kasper (no brainer) Centre backs: SSL and Morgan, although it was interesting that SSL was taken off for Wellens not Bamba, either way, pick 2 and stick with them for the rest of the season RB: Peltier (With Moore as understudy, why the fvck anybody would want to play Pantsil is beyond me, he is not going to be here next season so why play him) LB: Konch (With Kennedy as understudy) Midfield: Danns is suspended King and Wellens doubtful, so Drinkwater and then probably Wellens with King on the bench depending on fitness, but please not Bamba in midfield he is not a midfielder) LW: Dyer (There is only one) RW: Marshall (why did we have a wide player in the middle and forward out wide against Posh, especially after Wellens came on. Forwards: Nugent, (our best player and top goal scorer this season in hie natural position) with well I guess this depends on if you see Beckford as being with the club next season or whether the fall out with NP is on a Mills level or not, so beckford or Schlupp So: Kasper Peltier SSL Morgan Konch Marshall Drinkwater Wellens Dyer Nugent Beckford Subs: Schlupp, Moore, King, Bamba, Kennedy It all looks very familiar but that is because we have a very limited pool of players to pick from, but it is the front 2 that when playing together in that formation have banged in the goals. Danns will come back in in a couple of games, and Waghorn will hopefully force his way on to the bench and get a chance to show if he is worth keeping or not, same for Vassell. We now have 6 games to prepare for pre season, results aren't important it is all about the performance and proving you are worth keeping for next season, if not then bye bye.
Babylon Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Who would have thought so many people would be rushing to put Wellens back in the team after an injury layoff.

I think a 4-4-2 with Bamba in the centre would be disastrous to be honest
Larry_LCFC Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Probably lose 2-0. Nigel will tell us "we werent good enough but he will get it right" and this forum will implode with 600 threads on why we are so shit and how Nigel should be sacked. Roll on saturday!
RowlattsFox Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 Pressure pretty much off so I expect us to win comfortably, then probably win at Ipswich and everyone gets excited again only for us to lose against Millwall and Burnley.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 2 April 2012 Author Posted 2 April 2012 I think a 4-4-2 with Bamba in the centre would be disastrous to be honest Me too in all honesty, but King isn't fit enough to start and Drinkwater has been very poor since he came back from injury so we don't have too much choice. That rash Danns tackle against Hull is looking very costly indeed...
TrentFox Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 A repeat of last season would be welcome. To be honest, this season IS a repeat of last season ! Just a more expensive version !!
HEGGSY Posted 2 April 2012 Posted 2 April 2012 To be honest, this season IS a repeat of last season ! Just a more expensive version !! Don't forget shitter, at least last year we went on a bit of a run.
