KidKunny Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 I hope this back2back thing don't play on the players mind, only done it twice this season hopefully we can win 3 in a row... Does anyone know when that was, the last time we won 3 in a row in the league?
Earl Shilton Lee Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 This game is very big. If we win this I really think we'll do it. I'm not worried about anybody at home and Leeds are playing terribly. Getting excited now.
Leicesterpool Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 Now this is the problem we've got with Leicester, every time we suddenly got the belief to reach the play offs we go on and **** it up by losing.
Number 6 Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 Genuinely believe this will be the toughest fixture remaining. Some good competition for places now though: Kasper Konchesky Morgan Bamba Peltier Marshall Wellens Drinkwater Gally Beckford Nugent Subs: King, Dyer, St Ledger, Schlupp, Howard Would allow Marshall a bit of freedom in that too with Gally tucking in for a 3 man mid-field.
Out Foxed Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 i think gallagher is better coming on in the second half tbh
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 Dont know if many have noticed but everytime i have seen dyer play the opposition have stuck 2 players on him thier fullback and winger this then leaves konchesky completley free to put a ball into the box therefore i think dyer is to vital not to start!!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 Think if we win and we do gain ground i honestly think we will do it. Predaction though is one all. Despite dominating and leading one nil late on we cock it up in injury time.
MC Prussian Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 I think I may be getting a heart attack from my local supermarket, just in case.
lcfcadam Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 Now this is the problem we've got with Leicester, every time we suddenly got the belief to reach the play offs we go on and **** it up by losing. The bigger problem I've got with Leicester is that each time we keep firmly waving goodbye to the play-offs with a shit defeat we follow it with an annoying combination of a good result for us and good results around us and our painful hope is prolonged for yet another week...
Libertine Dream Posted 10 April 2012 Posted 10 April 2012 I believe but the I'm massively nervous for Saturday the way we play against bottom half teams, particularly away. This says it all really: http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/vbothalf.html http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/vtophalf.html Still it will be the 3rd of my miracles so a 2-0 win, as Millwall have been awful at home recently,
lcfcadam Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 For the life of me I can't find the thread dedicated to this game, but FFS: we're over a million points behind for this one!!!!! Get on it lads and ladies!! http://www.playforyo...playgame/891/35
Gold Coast Fox Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 2-0 Millwall... But then again, I'm an optimist.
topharry123 Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 We'll win 4-0 and Brighton. Cardiff and Boro will all lose. We'll then be in 6th spot !! I cannot actually believe that we are where we are with 4 games to go. A couple of weeks ago it seemed over, but it is amazing how this division has gone this year.
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 Kasper Peltier - Morgan - Bamba - KoncheskyGallagher - King - Wellens - MarshallNugent - BeckfordSubs: Sean St Ledger, Drinkwater, Dyer, Howard, Schlupp 3-1 win, King, and Nugent x2 Brighton and Cardiff lose and then Boro raw and we go 6th
Raw Dykes Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 For the life of me I can't find the thread dedicated to this game, but FFS: we're over a million points behind for this one!!!!! Raw Dykes Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 Danns' suspension is finished, but no-one's put him in their squad. Is he injured?
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 Danns' suspension is finished, but no-one's put him in their squad. Is he injured? Pearson said he has a groin problem I think, he will be on subs at best if he is fit though
Basingstoke Fox Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 For the life of me I can't find the thread dedicated to this game, but FFS: we're over a million points behind for this one!!!!! ozleicester Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 We have to win this to get 3 points, trust me damn...so a win is the ONLY way we can get the 3 points?.... ok, ill trust you, but you had better not let me down. I once met a man who went by the name BIGJOHN, but he wasnt... his name was James
davieG Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 Merc Leicester City midfielder Neil Danns, out for the last four games because of suspension, may also miss Saturday's vital game at Millwall – because he is injured. Danns was banned for the games against Nottingham Forest, Peterborough, Doncaster and Ipswich after a red card in the home win against Hull. The summer signing had been in fine form before the ban and manager Nigel Pearson was looking forward to having him back in the squad. But a groin injury suffered in training could mean that he is missing for the clash at the New Den. "Neil is back, but he has an injury problem at the minute so he may not be available for Millwall," said Pearson after the 2-1 victory at Portman Road on Easter Monday. "We have to wait and see because he has a groin problem." Paul Gallagher and Lee Peltier picked up knocks after the back-to-back victories against Doncaster and Ipswich over Easter, which have seen City move to within three points of the play-offs with four games remaining. Their fitness will be assessed during the course of this week. "Peltier has some fatigue in the hamstrings and Gallagher has a sore knee, but we have to assess them as we go along," said Pearson. "First and foremost, after having two games in quick succession, it is important to assess the fitness of the squad and take some time to recover, and then prepare for the next game, which will be another tough game." Pearson is just starting to get his squad close to full fitness at a vital time, and Gallagher and fellow substitute Andy King made significant impacts after replacing the tiring Lloyd Dyer and Danny Drinkwater at half-time at Portman Road. "We kept an unchanged side from Saturday and I just felt we didn't really look to have the energy levels that we needed," added the City boss. "I thought both players made a big impact after coming on at half-time, as did Steve Howard towards the end. The bench was always going to be very important. "We made a couple of changes to inject some fresh legs into the team. Gallagher had an huge impact in terms of what he brought to the team quality-wise. David Nugent's goal came from his cross. "I think rather than being physically fatigued, at times we were not quite as on the ball mentally as I would have liked. That improved drastically in the second half. "It was a good second half for us and we never looked in any danger. We could have won more convincingly."
wurmer Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 2-1 loss, we've been inconsistent all season, I see no reason for it changing now.
Captain... Posted 11 April 2012 Posted 11 April 2012 For the life of me I can't find the thread dedicated to this game, but FFS: we're over a million points behind for this one!!!!! Get on it lads and ladies!! http://www.playforyo...playgame/891/35 There is always a link to it in my sig. We could finish top 10 which is quite impressive considering we were bottom 3 when it was posted on here.
