Also, he said Paintsil isn't in the squad and Tunchev is back training. Regarding Paintsil, I've seen him a couple of times (think he played against Barnsley, away) and don't rate him. No better than, and not as good as, Peltier.

Number 6 Posted 13 April 2012 Posted 13 April 2012 Thought he would be a decent signing and become a bit of a cult hero with his laps of honour. Fulham fans seemed to highly rate him too. However, when he did appear in a Leicester shirt, he was useless. Won't be sad to see him leave.

If your a defender, defend... if you want to be a winger ask the boss... (I assume nigel would have asked him to push up though? ) I would prefer pantsil to get a run in the team for a while...

He's been a bit hit and miss. I'm glad he gets up to supprt but he hasn't been great defensively and certain teams seem to have targetted our right side. Has got one hell of a header on him though and still miles better all round than Paintsil.

Marshall or Gally dont defend at all tbh and Pelts is in his first season in the Championship and has a lot to learn still. Next season he will be a far better player for us.

If Paintsil (a player with a wealth of PL and international experience) is being paid more than Peltier (who only played in League 1 last season) but is not playing in the first-team, then I say get rid of him! I'd be surprised if we keep him for next season, why would you have a player as back up if he was being paid more than the player that is currently keeping him out of the side?

Happy Fox Posted 13 April 2012 Posted 13 April 2012 If Pantsil does go we need a RB simple as Moore is too inexperienced at this level, we need someone with experience at this level, so McNaughton, Clyne, Chris Gunter etc would be good options to consider.
