crisp packet Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Ignore the haters !!! I for one look forward to certain posts on this forum....
Kitchandro Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Jesus, Foxes Talk is turning into Facebook with all these bitchy arguments and '**** the haterzzzzz' comments.
Bert Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Hold my hands up when I get things wrong, I said Leicester where talking to Mark Hughes this was very much the case, things didn't work out, same with Wayne Routledge, I can admit mistakes but what pisses me off most is people will remember 2 things wrong but however many correct? None! Yet I bet you still watch sky sports news? And read newspapers? All of which get things wrong on a daily basis but no one questions them, Sky sources for example say Everton have bid for Richardson and Everton dismissed it as nonsense now will people remind them of that? Will they heck It doesn't matter how people get 'info' it's one of the worst questions people throw about, why would I on twitter or on a forum name my source for a particular deal? What do I benefit? There's a chance it gets back to the club that person works for and they lose their job as confidentiality is a big thing at football clubs, I'm signed to a contract myself Couldn't have put it better myself. Which is why I didn't.
Saxondale Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Jesus, Foxes Talk is turning into Facebook with all these bitchy arguments and '**** the haterzzzzz' comments. As long as people don't start posting weekly photos of themselves pouting in a pub toilet, I can tolerate it.

Happy Fox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 I appreciate the info from Toffee_Fox and John Percy otherwise I and many other fans would have to rely on the OS or Stringer to get our info after a month or two , it is speculation, take it with a pinch of salt don't get yourself into a massive frenzy if it is turns out to be wrong, but what grates me is peeps pretending to be ITK's and fooling the masses but I guess that is how the twitter world works.... mind you they maybe think Football Rumours is where to get the info
Bluetintedspecs Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 I think this needs to be looked after better. Constant sniping, (myself included) on who's better or get there first or whatever, it's getting ridiculous now. It should be used for what the thread title says. How many times have we ha the same arguments that keep popping up? If I get told something I'll pass it on, simple as that. If it turns out being wrong then so be it, if it's right then great. Everyone has their own opinions and beliefs and they can believe whatever they like. i believe we will win the Premier in 5 years, however it's highly unlikely but I like to believe I think football withdrawal is clouding peoples judgements and making them testy. All transfer rumours are exactly THAT until the player has put pen to paper. All info should be welcomed, some laughable some plausible and some debatable.I say take a chill pill reduce the stress and confrontation then enjoy the ride!
AjcW Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Tunchev is still a city player. Disagreement with Palace over wages.
Babylon Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 i thought that too....arent they normally done at a certain hospital. Was at Bupa a few years back, not sure if it's shifted somewhere else since then.
Bert Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Tunchev is still a city player. Disagreement with Palace over wages. He's been released, so he's not a city player.
Happy Fox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 He's been released, so he's not a city player. I think he was trying to test the gullible lot perhaps Now_Football or any other twitter source to see if they would post it on twitter and claim their superiority complex.

Babylon Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 I always thought the idea of Mods on chat sites n forums was to keep the peace. Ahhhhh well wrong again. Not just Bert he will wade into either. Firstly, I am still allowed an opinion. I'm a poster first moderator second, the second it means I can't post what I want then I'll tell Mark he can find someone else to do the job. Merging and moving posts really isn't much fun. Secondly, what exactly in my post was in anyway not keeping the peace? I said Bert mentioned Cole, and that he, FO and Now_Football hadn't posted anything that had come true, that hadn't already been posted elsewhere (I'm talking this summer). Even adding in "yet" and "so far" knowing that there might well be stuff to come. Both points were correct... do you find the truth offensive?
FrankieADZ Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Was at Bupa a few years back, not sure if it's shifted somewhere else since then. thats the 1 least its not the general
Babylon Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Which may or may not be the case....... whatever........ but at some point, maybe just let it go...... I'd rather he was around than not........ remember KIA? I just keep reading the same old accusations and feel that he's not doing any harm, is he.......... maybe just let him get on with it or put him on block....... either way...... maybe move on. Or we could make signs and knock about outside his house and sometimes throw stuff? This is my last post on it as its all been said before. N. If you don't like it, then tough. It's been about 2 or 3 posts. The way you are banging on you think I've been harassing the bloke non stop. I have posted more things in defence of him that I ever have against him. I just call it as I see it. Just as I did here... http://talkingballs.co.uk/showthread.php/31977-The-annoying-but-traditional-totally-unfounded-Autumn-Winter-rumours-thread/page2?highlight=bert
The People's Hero Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 What do you reckon is the best Simon & Garfunkel album? Has anyone spotted Deathside recently? Is he ok? Where are all of the ants in my lounge coming from and why won't my cats eat them? Are Mercedes C Class estates any good? Anyone seen that JIMMER guy or whatever he was called who turned up at the pub once in an old Scotland shirt and dished out free FOX masks? When will Leicester announce a pre-season friendly versus Maidstone/Gillingham? Is it too early in the evening to switch from ale to gin? Are the cheapest of the Tanglewood acoustics any good? Is anyone out there willing to oppose my long held view that Elgar is the best composer like EVAR?
stourbridgefox Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 There's a bandwagon I want in on. I really look forwards to reading tweets from 4th Official, John Percy and Bert. They seem to get things right the majority of the time. The off-season would be much more boring without them. So thanks for the info and keep up the good work! While the above three are believable, I actually like reading any rumours, no matter how bizarre. If the season was in full swing then 3/4 of posters could be on here moaning and I could join the other 1/4 appealing for some kind of calm and reason. Well...that's not an option at the moment. So bring on Billy 'everyone in football asks me first before completing a transfer' Bullshitter on Twitter saying we are close to swapping Waghorn for Messi. Read it or not...it's your choice. You have nothing to lose but your credibility!!

There's a chance it gets back to the club that person works for and they lose their job as confidentiality is a big thing at football clubs, I'm signed to a contract myself I accept people make mistakes, or occasionally get bad information. I don't accept it when people lie, or self publicise. I rarely see a genuine scoop on these accounts. I choose not to follow them because of this. I don't think its unreasonable for people to ask how they know this either. If someone in real life told me all this "inside" info, my first response is obviously to ask how they know it. Difficult to take it seriously without at least a hint at how they know it.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Well this has all got rather awkward... Arsehole
Kitchandro Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Well this has all got rather awkward... Source? Can you confirm this, Bert?
Lambert09 Posted 28 May 2012 Posted 28 May 2012 Can we please have this convo somewhere else and leave this thread for twitter rumours? 3 new pages and not a single new tweet
