Where are all of the ants in my lounge coming from and why won't my cats eat them? Are Mercedes C Class estates any good? Anyone seen that JIMMER guy or whatever he was called who turned up at the pub once in an old Scotland shirt and dished out free FOX masks? When will Leicester announce a pre-season friendly versus Maidstone/Gillingham? Is it too early in the evening to switch from ale to gin? Are the cheapest of the Tanglewood acoustics any good? Is anyone out there willing to oppose my long held view that Elgar is the best composer like EVAR? The Graduate soundtrack. and I keep saying Pomp and Circumstance should be our National anthem and not dreary God Save The Queen.

I rarely see a genuine scoop on these accounts. I choose not to follow them because of this. I don't think its unreasonable for people to ask how they know this either. If someone in real life told me all this "inside" info, my first response is obviously to ask how they know it. Difficult to take it seriously without at least a hint at how they know it. Telling a 'mate' is a bit different to broadcasting it to 45k followers. Where have I lied? People go they haven't had any exclusives this summer yet, but mistake me if I'm wrong only three signings have been confirmed? I hand on heart knew nothing about the Man United duo, and I don't believe for one minute I tweeted anything about those deals as it would have been misleading to suggest I knew, I didn't. Anyone can go for example "Big name player is having a medical at this club" out of all the players to pluck from Jamie Vardy isn't one, by time people get on twitter certain deals are out, that is just the way it is and people will always see people as copying, everyone tries to get the first bit of news but also some people work together, some know bits and others know other bits. You say that person isn't a source as they just gather information from 'all different sources' well of course, I support Everton, and due to what I do, I get a lot of Everton info first hand, due to a family member I get info from Liverpool & Tranmere (try and figure it out...) but believe it or not there is players that give out information (of all different clubs) there is also agents (it gets their clients name out without a comment from them) and so on, its what sources you trust that matter most.

Are you related to John Barnes? Still good friends with the Tranmere chairman who was also once in charge of Everton ?
