FrankieADZ Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 sign him up...he played in a team sponsored by Burger King
wattolcfc Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 If true, it looks like this guy could tear the Championship apart!
Callabinho Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 Don't be silly, he was linked with Arsenal last season! A load of bull!
Adster Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 Don't be silly, he was linked with Arsenal last season! A load of bull! Elliott Hewitt was linked with Arsenal and Chelsea last season, and now he's signed for Ipswich.. I know he's not been in the starting line up in a Liga BBVA team, but my point still stands.
Bert Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 Don't be silly, he was linked with Arsenal last season! A load of bull! Ricky Sappleton was linked with Man Utd.
Happy Fox Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 I can only think of a tenuous link for this rumor the time when we played Real Madrid last summer their was talk of an arrangement of players from their youth system coming over here on loan, obviously this hasn't happened but it doesn't strike me that we have scouts scouring over Spain. Unless our scouting network is more developed now?
Father Ted Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 I'm not a troll. I'm looking forward to seeing a right back that will burst forward and put a decent ball in the box but will then bust a gut to get back and help defend, not just walk back like Peltier does. Peltier offers nothing to this team, rarely gets forward and is always the weak link in our defence with his inability to follow his man or stick to his position. His needless back passing all the is frustrating too absolutely no confidence with ball. If we can get back what we've paid we've hit the jackpot! Hallelujah.
RizLCFC Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 Ricky Sappleton was linked with Man Utd. The fact your not dismissing the rumour fills me with hope
Mark_w Posted 31 May 2012 Posted 31 May 2012 The fact your not dismissing the rumour fills me with hope Nobody ITK is likely to know about every single deal so it'd be stupid for them to dismiss a rumour unless they've heard specifically it isn't happening. Doubt it means anything.
Callabinho Posted 1 June 2012 Posted 1 June 2012 Ricky Sappleton was linked with Man Utd. Ha I remember that!
dog_4 Posted 1 June 2012 Posted 1 June 2012 i remember Nigel being linked with edgar davids, antonio reyes and r.lewandanski ( who's now wanted by some of europes top clubs) so i don't think Nigel is adverse to adding star players to a team, with the emphasis being a team!
davieG Posted 1 June 2012 Posted 1 June 2012 Merc However, reports, also from Turkey, that City are trying to sign Nigerian international Joseph Yobo are not true. The Turkish media linked City with a move for Yobo, who has been on loan at Fenerbahce for the last two seasons, from Everton, and stated that City had agreed a deal for a season-long loan. However, the Mercury understands City have not approached Everton for Yobo.

Although we don't know what influence MM had on those links.
davieG Posted 1 June 2012 Posted 1 June 2012 Although we don't know what influence MM had on those links. Based on his previous interference in player recruitment we can make a very good educated guess.

Lambert09 Posted 1 June 2012 Posted 1 June 2012 So if the info is right more often than not why should we not trust them? Well I suppose thats up to you, but I was just warning as some people take them as gospel and seeing as they are just finding stuff on the internet its no more guaranteed then any joe blogs saying it. This could just stop all the people constantly asking them for more info...which they arent going to have
