kingfox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 #lcfc are interested in taking Keith Andrews in a free transfer (Mirror) On a free Andrews could be quality at this level, had a blinder at Ipswich, and scored quite a few goals.
Leicfox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Waghorn to Charlton Dan Sheed ☮ @SheedyOfficial Leicester City striker Martyn Waghorn is close to signing for Charlton, with Hayes leaving, I could see this coming!#watchthespace #cafc I can see some truth in this. Waggy will want to be playing football and it's not guaranteed here for him. It's a shame if true as he's still only 22 and has his best years ahead of him. It's just another young player that will probably go on to do really well at another club and Leicester make a big loss on transfer fees. Waghorn & Kermorgant strike partnership = Lethal
TheUltimateWinner Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Waggy won't leave. Pearson's favourite player and will get the best out of him.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 In a RL after match interview Stringer made some stupid headmaster comment to Waggy when NP walked in! NP said "I wish ALL the pupils were like him" referring to Waggy. Think that says it all.
inckley fox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Spot on Bert. Obvious to me and a few others, but we have to put up with a load of 'tripe' in many posts along the way. Furthermore, does it actually matter where Fourth Official get their information from if it's accurate. Is the information invalid if they tweet that a player is on his way to us, and it happens, and it was the first reference any of us had seen, then someone discovers later on that somebody else had the information before them - of course not. The nature of any information is always that someone tells someone then someone else may advertise it, then someone tells someone else and so on and so on! I do not care who gets the info first as long as it is accurate! Fourth Official has been right on occasions but 'Bert' hasn't got anything right for a long time - unless it's already been mentioned by someone else. The continued assumption that his word is gospel is absurd and totally without foundation. For some of you this allegiance to Bert is a sentimental attachment to He who was once 'ITK'. Please, just let go... for your own sake. He may well once have been 'ITK' and - though he professes otherwise - he's extremely sensitive whenever anyone suggests that he's anything other than 'ITK': Which is why I'm happy to point out just how consistently wrong he is. Yet his bird, whoever it may once have been, has long since flown. As for 'if this were the case then there'd be a lot of people repeating one another' - well, surely that's EXACTLY what happens! I hope Bert keeps looking and some day stumbles into someone else who can impart inside-LCFC-wisdom upon him (because this is clearly of paramount importance). For now, though, you should be a little less trite towards those who quite rightly point out that he knows sod all.

inckley fox Posted 2 June 2012 Posted 2 June 2012 Does it sound a little forthright? If so, I'm sorry. The chap speaks a lot of sense and it's not so much a criticism of Bert as those who hang on his every word. Some people must feel pressure to be 'ITK' even when they can't be. Personally, I was a little annoyed by some of his comebacks at those who pointed out that he was in the wrong, while he spent ample time lambasting others who, to his mind, knew bugger all. When I say that I hope he 'stumbles back into the know' I really mean it. Good luck to the fella.

Dan Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Pablo Sarabia? Doubt we'd pay £2.5mil for a 19/20 year old. Have we ever had a Spaniard play for us? Literally ever? I can't remember any. Shame really, got it all, technique, work rate, and most importantly, FLAIR.

nickelbyfox Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 None of those qualitys will matter under Pearson. HAHAHA well at least work rate is 1
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Andrews would really be a good signing. Was very good at Ipswich.
Bettsj2 Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Andrews would really be a good signing. Was very good at Ipswich. Matty James Danny Drinkwater Ritchie Wellens Neil Danns Andy King Really dont see the need in signing another central midfielder.
MGLCFC Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Apart from the fact Wellens and King really did little to impress last season. Whilst I've always rated Wellens, I feel his best years are behind him. King has developed into a good midfielder since his emergence, however last season was hampered by injury and he never really reached the level of performance seen in previous seasons. Would love some flair in midfield and a ball winner.

lcfcsnow Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Would love some flair in midfield You're not going to get flair in any position with this manager. Fact.
Happy Fox Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Wellens won't feature at all next season imo, so that leaves us with options of Danns, James, Drinkwater and King ( may be sold perhaps?). Very similar minded centre midfielders and by that I mean they are all practically box-box. We need a defensive minded central midfielder or a playmaker.
Callabinho Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 Kings a funny one, but he hasn't done anything all season due to injury! So would we get any cash for him?
Hack Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 You're not going to get flair in any position with this manager. Fact. Please go and follow another team if you feel this way.

In a comprehension test you score 3 out of ten and that is only because you did know it was about football.
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 3 June 2012 Posted 3 June 2012 So basically berts a pigeon who's been caged for time being but once properly fed, he'll be flying high with the other messengers i.e Fourth Official. I get it now. Poor bird leave him alone!
