Guest Posted 5 June 2012 Posted 5 June 2012 6 assists for a RB Hoyte this season aint bad imo. Reading the previous quotes they must all have been long balls from his own half.
NewburyFox Posted 5 June 2012 Posted 5 June 2012 Reading the previous quotes they must all have been long balls from his own half. I can only say what my mate who is a Boro season ticket holder has told me, and he doesn't rate him that highly. Prefers Tony McMahon at RB.
phillo Posted 5 June 2012 Posted 5 June 2012 hoytes a bag of crap, not got to worry about tracking back with this guy.wont leave kasper on his own.could be what we need company for kasper.
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 June 2012 Posted 5 June 2012 You're not going to get flair in any position with this manager. Fact. what about Ben Marshall?
kingfox Posted 5 June 2012 Posted 5 June 2012 Fourth Official@Fourth_Official Believe Leicester will do all that is possible to sign James Chester to replace Sol Bamba in defence #hcafc #lcfc

Happy Fox Posted 5 June 2012 Posted 5 June 2012 Hopefully we can get Chester this signing would reaffirm to me that the departure of Bamba was worthwhile.

'He's entertainment for us all' 'He's entertaining' blah blah blah, I don't give two hoots about entertainment. I want us too do better than last season and this move is a step in the right direction. He's gone/going, get over it.

I am not saying Bamba is entertaining etc just that I expect that the replacement to Bamba is the same quality or better, or has the potential to be better Chester hopefully would be imo.

You might not be, but others are. People think this is a big loss, when it's really not. People purely want to keep him because of his goal against Man City, and his crazy runs that leads to him being out of position on the break.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 June 2012 Posted 6 June 2012 Where's the toughened up midfield Nige? The focus seems to be nearly all on the defence... I'd be looking at what's in front of them first and foremost. I think SSL, Morgan, even Mills are good enough. Kasper's fine, Konch is good, Pelts will I think get better. It's the midfield that needs toughening up IMO. Do that and the current defence will look much much more solid. Chester may improve things.. But if we continue with a team who can't keep the ball and are over run too easily, Chester will too look shaky.

wellyfox Posted 6 June 2012 Posted 6 June 2012 Chill out mate the transfer window hasn't even opened yet! Chill out mate the transfer window hasn't even opened yet! Sorry am with Col city fan Rumours are all about the defence and a purchase of a striker that played 3 divisions beloow us. Not saying Vardy won't work but is a good chance he may not. And steel in the middle is what we really need and what we have missed for a couple of yrs.

You're moaning at Nigel already and the Transfer Window hasn't even opened yet. Truth is you don't know who we're linked with fully. We could be tracking DM's and Strikers, not all of them are reported by the Press you know.

Simply stating that Pearson APPEARS to be focussing on defenders when I'd like to see a defensive midfielder. Reason being i believe signing such a player will lessen the defensive frailties of the team per se. Same as Welly was saying I reckon. Of course theres time... I didn't say there wasn't. Chill yourself...

Happy Fox Posted 6 June 2012 Posted 6 June 2012 The transfer window opens June 9th for this country and doesn't preseason training start in July? So I imagine NP would want all of his targets before pre season training starts.
Babylon Posted 6 June 2012 Posted 6 June 2012 Since Pearson arrived he has signed 3 midfielders, 2 defenders and one midfielder / striker. The transfer window opens June 9th for this country and doesn't preseason training start in July? So I imagine NP would want all of his targets before pre season training starts. So we still have another month then.
Babylon Posted 6 June 2012 Posted 6 June 2012 Why the flip are people so obsessed with "defensive midfielders", you don't need some clogger in there, you can easily play with box to box players who can put a foot in. James and Danns could well be that combination.

Because our midfield get overrun all the time on the counter attack, until we learn to defend as a team this problem keeps on occurring their are two alternatives, sign a target man to relive the pressure i.e Heskey or sign a defensive minded midfielder imo.

Or sign players who can track back and tackle. Wellens can't track back like he did and King never tackles.
