Simmo86 Posted 23 July 2012 Posted 23 July 2012 koren and boozackee would equal auto playoff spots. = far too many centre midfielders
Legend fox Posted 23 July 2012 Posted 23 July 2012 we need wingers ( judge in my eyes would be worth a punt) to many in the CM in my eyes
muzzy1981 Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 So far Nige has fulfilled the wishlist most fans asked for in terms of positions. A CM is not next, it is a winger so I'd have thought the wheels are in motion.
artursteppe Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 Why do we have to play with more wingers than any of the top twenty international sides or any of the top fifty club sides in Europe. It's all so passe!
muzzy1981 Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 The Championship style requires some width (Think Sven), when we are in the prem next season I agree it's all about Barca style
MC Prussian Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 Regardless of whether we sign him or not: But why are people still mistaking Koren for a CM?
yorkie1999 Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 Regardless of whether we sign him or not: But why are people still mistaking Koren for a CM? Exactly the same as why people want 300 players in the squad, because they're f**kin clueless....
MPH Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 Regardless of whether we sign him or not: But why are people still mistaking Koren for a CM? Because he is? He's not a winger if thats what you are suggesting.... ( his official website says he is too..)
MC Prussian Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 Because he is? He's not a winger if thats what you are suggesting.... ( his official website says he is too..) I was merely implying that he's not a central (holding) midfielder in the classic sense, but moreso an attacking central midfielder, who loves to operate behind the main strike force.
DifferentViewOnFootball Posted 25 July 2012 Posted 25 July 2012 I was merely implying that he's not a central (holding) midfielder in the classic sense, but moreso an attacking central midfielder, who loves to operate behind the main strike force. No you're still in the hole, not a good enough explanation my friend!
woznotwos Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 Havnt Hull just signed the rangers midfielder yesterday ? could mean things will get into motion now ?
Adster Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 I might be wrong but isn't Aluko a winger, not a midfielder?
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 Aluko is a winger/striker. Would never be able to play centre midfield in my eyes. Completely different player to Koren
MPH Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 I was merely implying that he's not a central (holding) midfielder in the classic sense, but moreso an attacking central midfielder, who loves to operate behind the main strike force. fairy snuff. To me, an attacking or defensive midfielder.. they are still both central... i was thinking width ways im guess you were doing uppy downy ways...
dpjfox Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 it may speed things up on the Cameron Stewart front (if theres anything in that rumour)
woznotwos Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 ooh right , thought he was a centre mid guys , but yes , maybe itll help get Stewart in then !
Guest nathan. Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 We'll be held to ransom for any of Dulls players we should stay clear imo
GREG LCFC Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 my dad said hull wont sell us any of there players unless its stupid money so i said dont pay stupid money dad !
Jaspa Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 my dad said hull wont sell us any of there players unless its stupid money so i said dont pay stupid money dad ! Whos your Daddy ?
Mark_w Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 Someone with good taste must have cleared this thread up Dan.
Danno Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 Someone without good taste must have cleared this thread up Dan. That's a shame
DanTheFox07 Posted 26 July 2012 Posted 26 July 2012 it may speed things up on the Cameron Stewart front (if theres anything in that rumour) Where have you been? stewart has already said that he doesn`t want to join us, that`s if Hull will even negotiate with us in the first place which is doubtful! Koren might be different as he has a clause in his contract supposedly!
