Super_horns Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 What's the sense among your lot? How do you reckon you'll do this year? Better approach than we took last year anyway! Its mixed with some older fans questioning if we are losing our "soul/idenity" in the sense we usually give our own youngsters a go but then we've still got Sean Murray in the team who is the best prospect by miles. But then the same people said that when we were signing english journeymen like Yeates and Garner.... We cannot complain too much...they offered to take over from Bassini who was leading us to administration and its not cosing us millions as in previous years - Vialli/Boothroyd eras. Just hope its not another Doncaster situation - players being left out and causing unrest in the squad (LARGE!) for Zola. As ever with changes in management and squads it will depend on how we do...I suspect Zola will need to be in or around the top 6 at Christmas time for example. Trouble with instant social media is that you have knee-jerk reactions either way and ofcourse the old YOUTUBE videos come out showing great moments of skill... Personally not sure we need quite so many but am convinced Zola is just being given these players to work with and told to get on with it minus excuses.
