I'm looking forward to it. Should be a decent game. Some great goals during that Wigan game RedHux.. Three of Wigan's, and Cox's, were brilliant. Exhibition stuff! Would've liked it a little closer though, but it's another game our defence gets to play together so there's silver linings.

Scored a few at Southampton, but other than that he's scored a lot of goals where he is the best player (at Doncaster and Scunthorpe). Did nothing in a good Sheffield United team, twice. That said, he could have been good back up for Nugent/Futacs/Vardy, and certainly better back up than Waghorn. Plus, he once dived against us which got Kisnorbo sent off and resulted in a penalty. And he rejected us. So no.

Fox92 Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 Sharp and Cox, as individual players, have done nothing in the past too suggest they are better than Dave Nugent at this level. Plus, there is nothing to suggest Sharp/Cox will be better than Nugent/Vardy. Just because they have both joined from Premier League teams, doesn't make them better players than Nugent or Vardy.
