Super_horns Posted 23 August 2012 Posted 23 August 2012 I know we had a good win on Saturday but Tuesday night proved these loan players have a long way to go before being used to the championship. Zola has trying to change the style but most of our players aren't the silky passing type...
KFS Posted 23 August 2012 Posted 23 August 2012 I know we had a good win on Saturday but Tuesday night proved these loan players have a long way to go before being used to the championship. Zola has trying to change the style but most of our players aren't the silky passing type... I have to say, I'm really intrigued into what he's doing. Part of me thinks that you've grabbed some starlets and its exciting, but then, this is the Championship and as you've alluded to, they've got to learn in a completely different league.
Super_horns Posted 23 August 2012 Posted 23 August 2012 Vydra and Abdi seem pretty useful but we lack a striker (Garner wouldn't look good in a Sunday league side unless it was a diving squad) and our defenders in Nosworthy,Taylor are hardly classic passers of a ball! Got to give Zola a chance and without these new owners we'd be administration bound or already in it. Some older fans wish we had a team of local players but that's an era long gone! Least its not costing us millions like previous mass signings - Vialli/Boothroyd.
PegguyArphexad Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 Fantastic goal by Forest. They look decent.
purpleronnie Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 Fantastic goal by Forest. They look decent. They've played well every game so far (well 3)....they look a much improved side.
Out Foxed Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 well, they have a decent manager now. fat twat mills has moved above tim ream in the pecking order then.
PegguyArphexad Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 I probably have my blue tinted shades on but Mills looks like a very limited footballer. I really think we've done well to move him on for a half decent transfer fee. Forest are playing some nice football. Look to play sensible but attractive football. Fair play.
Out Foxed Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 i wish we could have had umbro as a sponsor. forest's kit is tidy.
Jaspa Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 i wish we could have had umbro as a sponsor. forest's kit is tidy. To be fair, their last seasons jersey was decent too Think Puma will do us well though, quality brand
Fox92 Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 I think Forest are going to suprise a few people. I've seen highlights of their previous games, currently watching them now, and they look decent. O'Driscoll is a good manager to be fair and always plays attractive football. Good goal by McGugan as well.

O'Driscoll is a good manager to be fair and always plays attractive football. Good goal by McGugan as well. I said as soon as they appointed SOD they would do well. I was scoffed at by most, (not on here, in real life ). From what I have seen of tonight's game so far, they look good. Wouldn't be surprised if they get another goal or two before the end. (currently 0-1, 30 mins gone) Bolton look poor so far, and they were my tips for the title. They'll need to be a lot better than this to win that.
marko Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 They're looking a bit shaky now. Sordell should've scored with that header.
Grey Fox Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 1-1... No chance for Camp. Be more than happy if it ends that way. Keep them both from getting the 3 points. We need to start tomorrow like Forest did today. Try and grab the first goal. If we get it their fans will do the rest for us.
z-layrex Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 Bolton fans boo'ing. Like they have the right to walk the league?? Stadium's empty too. I almost want the trees to batter them.

Guest Bilo Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 You have to remember that Bolton and Blackburn aren't the biggest clubs in the world. Much likes Middlesbrough, their attendances are likely to fall sharply now that they're out of the Premiership.

I wouldn't go as far as to say I want to see Forest beat them, but I would really love a draw.
