Webbo Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Sousa's got 4 votes in the Bristol City next manager poll I can't believe some of the clueless comments in this thread, they don't want Curbishley but they want Sousa?! http://www.otib.co.u...t-manager-poll/ Sorry Leicesterpool but you were too slow. EXCLUSIVE: O'Driscoll set to make quick return to management at Bristol City Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2261665/Sean-ODriscoll-set-appointed-Bristol-City-manager.html#ixzz2Hs7MaGf7
Danizen Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 What was the 'big surprise' that Forest fans were promised, yesterday? Anyone know?
Walker Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Read the last few pages mate Ahhhhhh already discussed . Cheers for doing us a favour by the way!
Guest ttfn Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 What was the 'big surprise' that Forest fans were promised, yesterday? Anyone know? 2 goals under McLeish.
BHAFC Braders Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 Much needed win yesterday - full control for a large part of the game but STILL nearly threw it away at the death. Three points outside the play offs , probably still abit early but if Ulloa is the missing link for the Albion - who knows.
RobHawk Posted 13 January 2013 Posted 13 January 2013 http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4740801/Danny-Graham-Watford-in-the-dock.html Watford could be docked points for breaking FA rules! I know the sun is a shitrag at best but it seems from the article that they are guilty! Whether or not they get punished is another matter!
Leicesterpool Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 I think it's going to Cardiff, Leicester & Palace going up!
MC Prussian Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 I think it's going to Cardiff, Leicester & Palace going up! Shame Villa are going down, though.
davieG Posted 14 January 2013 Author Posted 14 January 2013 O'Driscoll named Bristol City manager http://www.football365.com/news/21554/8396085/-?
Out Foxed Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 Interesting that he turned down Barnsley and potentially Blackpool for Bristol.
Corky Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 It's surprising. Don't see Bristol City as more attractive than Barnsley and certainly not Blackpool, unless he's been promised money by the board.
BHAFC Braders Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 A lot of talk down here that Craig Mackail-Smith is about to join Norwich , wouldn't be massively bothered but wouldn't have minded seeing him upfront with Ulloa.
Corky Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 How has he been for you? I know we nearly got him but when he's played against us he's rarely been a threat.
The People's Hero Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 A lot of talk down here that Craig Mackail-Smith is about to join Norwich , wouldn't be massively bothered but wouldn't have minded seeing him upfront with Ulloa. I think he will struggle to make the step up if so. Who is Ulloa? Is he like a Welsh person saying Hello?
BHAFC Braders Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 I think he will struggle to make the step up if so. Who is Ulloa? Is he like a Welsh person saying Hello? I agree , he's shown glimpse of promise for us but nowhere near the player he was for Peterborough before and Jose Leonard Ulloa , agreeing personal details with him at the moment - Striker from Almeria.

Thought it was maybe a typo and you'd signed the entire club of Alloa Athletic. Are they Alloa Athletic? Or just Alloa? Either way I can't believe you've signed just one player over signing an entire club. Where is your presence in Scotland? Its all short-termism. I wish somebody would just sit down and think about the Brighton brand in the highlands.
Super_horns Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 http://www.thesun.co...n-the-dock.html Watford could be docked points for breaking FA rules! I know the sun is a shitrag at best but it seems from the article that they are guilty! Whether or not they get punished is another matter! It will be like the QPR situation..no-one will know until our position is known. If we finish outside the top 6 probably be a few points or something..but inside a heavy fine paid by Udinese which will delight their fans.
rico Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 Forests' big news?? http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11688/8396865/Peterborough-reject-derisory-offer-from-Nottingham-Forest-for-transfer-listed-George-Boyd
rico Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 They'll end up with Boy George. Do you really want to hurt him?
RedHux Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 Why didn't they sign him after his loan spell? Billy didn't want him there at all. Not even for the loan. This is the work of our scouting team who have taken a shine to boyd for a while now. Weirdly, a similar situation happened with Jenas. SOD didn't want him but the owners saw it as another big PL name to collect. Good luck to Sean (yes, even at Brizzle) in his new job. A proper gent and footballing man and a manager who didn't treat the fans like idiots with fist pumping touchline nonsense and generic post match interviews.
Danizen Posted 14 January 2013 Posted 14 January 2013 "I've not come here because they've given me a budget of X, Y and Z. I came here because I think...the way the football club is moving and the direction it's moving is the way football is going to move in the next...millenium." - Sean O'Driscoll. Why can't we get someone so forward-thinking?
