Corky Posted 17 February 2013 Posted 17 February 2013 Did Swansea field the kids or something? Not the kids, but the fringe players. Michu, Williams, Dyer, Routledge all on the bench, Flores is out injured.
Uncle Albert Posted 18 February 2013 Posted 18 February 2013 Liverpool were sensational yesterday, I know Swansea rested players for the Carling Cup Final but if Swansea had a full team out I don't think there would of been much difference in the scoreline. Can't believe how different Liverpool are already with Daniel Sturridge!
MC Prussian Posted 18 February 2013 Posted 18 February 2013 ... and they've finally won against a team in the Top 10 of the Premier League. Rodgers obviously had given them a right rollicking after that shambolic 2-0 home defeat to West Brom a couple of days earlier.

Uncle Albert Posted 18 February 2013 Posted 18 February 2013 lol So Tremmel (better than Vorm), Williams, Flores, Rangel, Dyer, Routledge, Michu wouldn't have made a difference? I said much of a difference helmet, did you watch the game or just Match of the Day 2? Tremmel wouldn't of saved any of them apart from maybe Coutinho's, Flores out injured anyway, Routledge, Dyer and Rangel came on. Yeah the game was already gone when they did but they came on. How Liverpool played yesterday then with Swansea's stronger players playing it wouldn't of made much of a difference no.

How Liverpool played yesterday then with Swansea's stronger players playing it wouldn't of made much of a difference no. You scored one, from a penalty, after the first Swans sub Routledge came on, and there were no more goals after that. You'd have to think that a full strength Swansea squad would have made for a much closer match. Still, well done, you've finally beaten top 10 competition.

I'll ask you the same question I asked the helmet above.. Did you watch the game or just Match of the Day 2? Anyone who watched the game would know that if Williams, Michu or Rangel had played then they wouldn't of made much difference, if any.
ScouseFox Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Gotta say he's usually ridiculously biased and wrong but he's got a point. I watched it all and Liverpool could've played any Swansea team and destroyed them. After the breakthrough it was genuinely exhibition stuff, 33 shots and not even that many from long range, could easily have hit double figures.
Uncle Albert Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 Gotta say he's usually ridiculously biased and wrong but he's got a point. In your opinion.
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2013 Posted 19 February 2013 You can only beat the team in front of you. Liverpool did that, to great effect.
sdb Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Great goal, awful game. I quite like Stoke and think they're usually more entertaining then people say (in their own 'unique' way), but the last few games I've seen them they look utterly clueless and unadventurous. zzzz
FoxyPV Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Villa equalise. Please please score again, Villa.
FoxyPV Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Giggs scores to put Man U 2-0 up. I really hope QPR go down
Carl the Llama Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Does anyone know if a club's ever avoided the drop after being 20th at this stage in the season? I'm pretty sure it's never happened...
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Does anyone know if a club's ever avoided the drop after being 20th at this stage in the season? I'm pretty sure it's never happened... West Brom in 04/05, their survival was remarkable.
AKCJ Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What is wrong with Newcastle? Newcastle 0-1 Southampton.
Fox92 Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 They seem to be suffering that second season thing. They were quality last season, this season not. How many teams have we seen do that? Reading for example.
ScouseFox Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Good job he saved it because it'll draw attention away from what the fúck he was doing in giving it away originally.
