BoneDog Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 As absolutely ridiculous as it sounds, it was almost expected. When he faced his man you just thought he'll knock this to his left and find the top bin. Easy as you like. Incredible. As soon as he got up after that fall and received the ball back you knew he was going to line up a shot. Great stuff. AVB was laughing his head off at the end
ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Times like these when players are playing like this when you've just got to sit back, no bias involved and enjoy it. Every time he gets the ball he looks to do something special and he usually does.
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 He`s got to be the closest thing to Ronaldo at this moment in time. What a player.
kingfox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Forget saying best player in the World, that's a load of bollocks. But along with Van Persie he is the best player in the Premier League. Think those two are on par at the minute.
Adster Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Forget saying best player in the World, that's a load of bollocks. But along with Van Persie he is the best player in the Premier League. Think those two are on par at the minute. What about Suarez?
Finnegan Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Forget saying best player in the World, that's a load of bollocks. But along with Van Persie he is the best player in the Premier League. Think those two are on par at the minute. Bale > Van Persie at the moment. By leagues. Van Persie is a very good finisher, of Van Nistelrooyesque accuracy, playing in a terrific side. By contrast, Bale's just simply winning games on his own with just audacious belters. I've watched a few Spurs games recently and they're tragically short of a goal threat without him, AVB desperately needs to land a top class striker from somewhere if they want to be a threat in Europe. In the mean time Bale's just hammering them all in for lulz. Immense.
ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Bale's head and shoulders above anyone else in the league this calendar year.
Corky Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 He's scoring vital goals too, not the fourth in a 4-0 win type. Massive player.
VinceNoir Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Heheh http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1221871/Spurs-flop-Gareth-Bale-January-Birmingham-boss-Alex-McLeish-eyes-3m-defender.html
sdb Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Gareth Bale's current form is like we're all living inside the imagination of a twelve year old kid from Cardiff who wants to be a footballer. Nicely put. I almost expected it to go in as he lined it up, yet it still completely took my breath away. Looking very Ronaldo-esque at the moment, although not at the same level yet.
MC Prussian Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Anyone got a video of his 2nd goal? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbc4_exKmO4&noredirect=1 It all looks so simple.
ScouseFox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 It was better than just the strike though. He'd ran from defence with it, been fouled but Spurs kept the ball, got straight back up and demanded it back off the kid, took a touch and twatted it.
Soar Fox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbc4_exKmO4&noredirect=1 It all looks so simple. Cheers mate. Gary O'Neil just stood of him.
Corky Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Adebayor for the goal made up for every bad thing he's ever done. Amazing. I'm in tears. What a maniac. It was brilliant, charging in like a lunatic, taking Collins out of the game whilst the ball hits the player on the ground's back straight to Sigurdsson
Jimothy Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Cheers mate. Gary O'Neil just stood of him. What do you do though? Go tight and he knocks it past you, stand off and he does that! Plus O'Neill was ****ed, he'd just chased Bale full pelt for 30 yards.
I am Rod Hull Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 The world is his oyster, he could go to any club on the planet (apart from Barca, he`s too dynamic for them), but who would be able to afford him? He`s got to be the best player to come out of these isles since a 1988/early 90`s Gazza.
Soar Fox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 What do you do though? Go tight and he knocks it past you, stand off and he does that! Plus O'Neill was ****ed, he'd just chased Bale full pelt for 30 yards. I only saw the goal from the clip that MC Prussian posted it. I didn't know he'd just been on a 30 yard run until scouse fox wrote it.
Amin Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Heheh http://www.dailymail...m-defender.html Some of the comments on there are hilarious in hindsight.
kingfox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 What about Suarez? No, nothing spectacular recently, Liverpool have been hit and miss.
Uncle Albert Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 No, nothing spectacular recently, Liverpool have been hit and miss. OH MY GOD. Someone seriously ban this cunt - absolute moron.
foxfanazer Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 No, nothing spectacular recently, Liverpool have been hit and miss. Has Van Persie been better than Suarez recently then? I must be watching the wrong games
Uncle Albert Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 Has Van Persie been better than Suarez recently then? I must be watching the wrong games Kingfox "yeah but did you see Bales goal last night and Van Persies like 6 years ago for Arsenal v Charlton? when has Suarez scored a goal like that?" Don't worry mate thats the kind of bollocks you will get back from a moron like kingfox, utter shit.
kingfox Posted 26 February 2013 Posted 26 February 2013 Has Van Persie been better than Suarez recently then? I must be watching the wrong games Yes. Van Persie has been slightly better than Suarez this season, and probably on current form he is still better. While Bale on current form is in my top two. Calling me a moron, because I don't think Suarez is on par with Van Persie Liverpool have been hit and miss, hence why they are 8th. 1.Van Persie 2.Bale 3.Suarez That's my opinion.
