Bugg Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 Bored of playing as English teams on Football Manager so I've decided to have a bit of a Challenge. I've taken over as Tromso manager in the Norwegian league purely because my 2 favourite Norwegian players Thomas Drage and Ruben Y-Jenssen are there. Looking at the squad it's solid enough to challenge for at least Europe, maybe even the title in the first season.

Narborough_fox Posted 28 February 2013 Posted 28 February 2013 I heard a rumour the other day that Football Manager are on about doing a merger with Ea Sports by being able to play some of the football matches on football manager on the fifa game, they did this before but that was EA sports own game, this is too different company's. Would be very interesting. I heard this rumour in 2012, 2011 and so on. Every year it crops up, and every year it doesn't happen. And hopefully, it never will.
munf1987 Posted 1 March 2013 Posted 1 March 2013 Has anyone started a new game on the update yet? Do leicester have Kane on loan? Had a weird bug happen to me today in my MLS game. The wage cap is 35,450 a week. I got to the point where i sold my gk who was on £900 and was trying to get a keeper in on a contract of £625. This transfer fell through as i was over budget, i was pretty sure i wasnt any where near when i submitted my squad at start of the season and now i was one player less. Went into my squad registation page and my spend was 35,850, which was odd. I then cleared all the players from the squad and the wage still showed 35,850. I created a 2nd save and went to the game from the start of that day and my wage was 32,250. I have got to replay the 6 games i had played again and its a shame as i was in fine form, won 3, drew 2 and lost 1 but banging the goals in no matter what team was being selected. For those who get abit bored with the usual FM saves, try the MLS it is completly different as you are restricted with the wage limit and have to be ruthless to if the player is worth however much of your wage cap. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

Dan Posted 1 March 2013 Posted 1 March 2013 It really wouldn't. One game tests your football playing skills, the other your tactical/management skills. It wouldn't work without excessive compromise. This. I wouldn't mind watching the games with FIFA's graphics but playing the game yourself would totally defeat the object of FM in the first place.

I'd even say that Marshall's level is way too high, especially as he keeps improving. Knocky should just be tuned a little bit. Drinkwater's level is pretty much spot on too I'd say. A lot of the FM stats (particularly the mental ones) aren't translateable into FIFA terms, because it is effectively the controller that determines those.

Nothing else will load like steam or if a program does load when i click of it it freezes. Someone help I've even restored for a week ago!

Wes and Wood have a case though... Marshall's woeful! As I was typing it I did think that Knockaert was a bit of a stretch but I think his stat distribution is a little iffy. I think his finishing, pace (though I wouldn't make it anything above 13) passing and creativity are all a little bit harsh.
