Guest MattP Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 If Adriano had done that against Leicester Nirvana he would have got twatted. Hope Barca can do their old mates a favour and send out the 6th team against Benfica.
Soar Fox Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 Love Juve's stadium. Fans close to the pitch and they did the right thing by down sizing.
Jimothy Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 http://youtu.be/YzKCSTElRvw Fair play!? To add insult to injury, they've just shown on the ITV highlights that as Shakhtar were about to let Nordsjaelland score to cancel out the goal he went mental running back from the halfway line demanding his team mates stop Nordsjaelland walking through to score. What a ****! Absolutely no sense of sportsmanship. Shakhtar should do a Wenger and offer a replay
Super_horns Posted 20 November 2012 Posted 20 November 2012 That will be Chelsea's excuse then when they see the incident!
Ross-Kemp Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Haven't seen the incident leading up to the goal, however, he has every right to do what he did. If we needed to win against forest on the last game of the season to go up, and nugent did that. Would people moan about fair play ? No.
Corky Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 I'm not sure (maybe Danny Boy could help) but I don't think it's written rule that you have to give the ball back and even if it goes in the goal doesn't stand. I always thought it was an unwritten agreed measure that you give it back and play on, and if a goal is scored you either cancel it or give the opposition a goal in return?
Kitchandro Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 I don't understand why that goal was allowed. It was an uncontested drop ball and he kicked it back to the opposition, right?

If we needed to win against forest on the last game of the season to go up, and nugent did that. Would people moan about fair play ? No. Yes, I for one would. I also imagine many others would feel the same. I cannot abide cheats and doing that is both crass and unsporting in the extreme. It would feel like a tarnished promotion and make the club extremely unpopular.
Kitchandro Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Gallagher scored one of those at Preston, it went straight in from the drop ball, and it was disallowed.
marko Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 1-0 Real - Benzema. Terrible defending. Hopefully it's the first of a few tonight.
AKCJ Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 What is it with Man City and the champions league?
purpleronnie Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Champagne charlie just said its so quiet at the Emirates he could hear someone opening a bag of crisps.
ScouseFox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Mexes' goal for AC tonight is better than Ibra's all day long. Boss goal.
Jimothy Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Mexes' goal for AC tonight is better than Ibra's all day long. Boss goal. Not seen it yet. Podolski for Arsenal was a good move and a cracking volley.
